It obviously had a rough transit. It was packed well in foam but during it's 'voyage' one of the connectors got bent. It's fixable however and the 'wonky glued in overflow hose that I will replace with a real bulkhead fitting. All in all for the price I expected it to need some modifications to make it viable and I wasn't disappointed. No big deal.Keep in mind, this is a non refrigerated 'cooler so torch coolant temperature will only be reduced to ambient temperature and NOT below that. If you assume the cooler will cool below ambient temperature, you are being misled.I had no issue purging the coolant lines either but I did check all the hose clamps for tightness and some were loose.Not a bad 'cooler' for the price but could have used some more careful transit.Interestingly, the outer box was not damaged in any way, just the bent fitting inside which tells me it was mishandled when packed in China.I would strongly suggest purchasing some TIG coolant as well. You don't want to run automotive anti-freeze in it as it will eventually compromise the internals on your water cooled torch. Buy the right stuff the first time.The comment from another commenter about adding 5 gallons of coolant is entirely false. The cooler with my CK 250 amp water cooled torch with 25 foot leads only requires a bit less than 2 gallons of coolant total. I replaced the glued in fitting with a bulkhead fitting but that hose and fitting only allows the excess coolant to return to the tank and nothing more. The tank is marked as to the maximum fill line with molded in dots which I highlighted with a red paint marker to see easily and the quick disconnect fittings on the cooler accept the industry standard connectors, I used CK Worldwide connectors that are available here on Amazon btw. I also used a CK Worldwide gas through DINSE connector which is also available here on Amazon. There is a bit of plumbing involved, but the CK Worldwide DINSE connector I'm using comes with a nice schematic showing exactly how to hook everything up. Just be apprised that all the torch to DINSE connections as well as the coolant to cooler connections are LEFT HAND THREADED. I did not use the supplied with the cooler blue and red hoses as I connected directly to the cooler and the quick connects on the cooler itself are color coded so hooking everything up is really pretty simple, just follow the colors on the hoses and the connectors.I had no issue priming the feed hoses to the torch either, the coolant flowed immediately through the torch hoses.I'm using Thermal Dynamics TIG torch coolant (also available here on Amazon) and 2 one gallon jugs will be plenty to fill the entire system.. The enclosed with the cooler instructions call out to use ethylene glycol but the TIG torch coolant is actually deionized water and propylene glycol and it's freeze point is -20 degrees (f), for those of you that don't have a heated shop.I agree, the fan is somewhat noisy but with 25 foot torch leads, I keep the welder and the cooler pretty far away from where I'm welding anyway. Been suing it for a couple weeks now (TIG welding aluminum as well as steel alloy) and it's performing flawlessly. I highly recommend it.The CK torch is a 'Superflexc' torch so even with 3 hoses going to the torch itself, it's very light and maneuverable.Been using the cooler and my TIG welder for a couple weeks now with no issues at all.

After conducting market research for a TIG water cooler, I decided to give this model a try as it met the specifications I was seeking and fell within my budget.So far, it has been performing exceptionally well and I have utilized it in various projects within my workshop. I am thoroughly pleased with its performance.It offers a great return on investment, especially for individuals like myself who engage in diverse projects such as welding gas tanks, vehicle wheels, and more. I highly recommend giving this cooler a try.

At the price point it could be better. It is loud as others have said. At this price there should be a flow alarm. It does work and flows well but it's not worth the price. I wanted the primeweld but it has been out of stock and I needed a cooler so bought this one.

I bought this to cool a 15 KW induction forge. The unit arrived on time and well packed. I see no flow alarm as advertised. I haven't hooked it up yet. I plan to remove the cover and check the hose connections inside before I power it up. I'll add to this review after I use the cooler.After using the cooler for a few days, I find it satisfactory for cooling the 15KW induction forge. I am forging small items and the forge and cooler run on about a 25% duty cycle.

I purchased this after trying to weld quarter inch aluminum with a 150 amp air cooled torch. When I paired this up with a 350 amp water cool torch, the results of my welds completely changed!The only issue I had with this, was that one of the hoses on the pump loosened up a little and I had to take the top off to tighten it up.The quick connects work perfect! The fans are super loud, but definitely get the job done!

Color doesn't match my Everlast, but who gives a crap,it mailed from Everlast though...Opened it to bend the cover a bit,and impressed with the internals,but the jug is like a crappy plastic milk container, with a hot glued hose at the top, doesnt have a low water alarm, don't really need it unless your retarded,, if it makes a chugging noise,, add more fluid, duh... ran mine with distilled water,, a little pentosin antifreeze and a half a cap of bleach,, i won't use anymore than a half to 3/4 cap...just so no bacteria buildup...I cant get a straight answer on line on what fluid, can't beat the price

It's a nice looking machine and easy to use. That's why we bought it for our business. Was hoping to supply it for our welders. However, as I suspected the quality is bad. We used it for 3 hours across 3 uses and it started leaking from the motor. Amazon pointed to seller and seller pointed to Amazon. No resolution.
