FIRST REVIEW (purchased Nov 2016) WAS 4 STARS..."Nice band, pulls hair on wrist now and then. Looks very nice on my wrist. Easy to adjust. Easy to wear. Easy to take off!"UPDATE June 14, 2017...I just started (in the last two weeks) to notice the band has begun to fray at the edge and has a sharp piece of the metal mesh now sticking out enough to grab onto and ruin my clothing and scratch my skin (photo attached). I'm not a heavy user of anything while wearing this band. I don't play sports or use it during any unusual activities. I'm a pretty chill person overall. Not cool!

The magnet holds the band in place well, the metal band is fine, but it is, in my humble opinion, too narrow for the Gear S2. This is 18mm, and it looks narrow when on the watch and on your wrist. The 20mm would be a better choice, again, just in my opinion.Size is an issue. I have relatively large wrists (8.5"), and although it fits around my wrist, I cannot slide this over my hand. I have to unfasten it, place it on my wrist, then slide the magnetic end through the watch mount. It's a pain in the keester putting this on and taking it off.In short, the band is too narrow for the S2 Gear, and it does not work for large hands/wrists.I'm going to keep looking.

I don't often make reviews but this watchband is one of the most annoying bands I've ever used. It might be aesthetically pleasing, sure, but it's not functional. The magnet is super weak and it just slides around willy-nilly, it won't stay tight and any kind of movement with your wrist will loosen it. It'll be so loose the watch will be on the inside of your wrist if you're not constantly adjusting it.Unless you're in a coma and don't move around at all, hard pass

Overall this is a decent quality band for that is both functional and classy. The metal is smooth and does not grab hairs or anything like that. the magnetic clasp is strong and stays in place ( I was a little skeptical about that part). The only issue I had is that is runs on the small side and made it difficult to take on and off. Sure, I could easily pull the one band fully out but I preferred to simply open it all the way and let it stay connected but that made it hard to get on and off. My hands are not all that large either. The main reason for going with the Gear S3 classic was it's size. I don't like huge watch faces. In the end I wore it for about a week and then changed it out, only because of the small size of the band.

The band itself matches the color well and is very comfortable, however when I received the band, the top loop connector where the pin is inserted was too wide by a fraction of a millimeter, which meant that I could not attach the band to the watch. I was able to get it to fit by filing down the edge of the band as I did not feel like struggling with the return process for a band I desperately needed, however filing created ugly marks on the side as the watch is plated with rose gold coloring rather than going all the way through.Now that the band fits, I do really enjoy it and find it to be very comfortable. Reducing the bulk of the original leather band that came with the watch is definite bonus.

I've been wearing this band for two days and it is very comfortable. The magnet is strong and has not come loose. The rose gold color was a perfect match for my Samsung Gear S2 Classic. I like that it fits my small wrist perfectly. I like to wear my watch snug against my wrist so it doesn't move around, but that can be uncomfortable with a bulky leather band. There was a review that stated this band wasn't comfortable if you are typing on a keyboard all day and resting your arm on the desk. I find that it is great for that type of setting.Love the quick change watch pins. It makes changing out the band a lot less frustrating.

I bought this band a year ago when I first purchased my watch. My husband nor I were able to install the band due to the base being to wide. I was disappointed because I really like the look of the band. Life got busy and it traveled in my makeup bag for a year. Today, I pulled it out again and tried my earnest to install it. And yep, you guessed it. Still too wide. Seems I am past the return date so I hope the seller sees this as an opportunity to ensure the bands are all the appropriate width.

Update** Seller did contact me after living this review and shipped me another watchband free of charge..this one seems so much better than the previous one. Very good customer service. Thank youThis is a good product, I have one in rose gold that I had absolutely no problems with but the silver one that I have been wearing everyday for months now snags on every piece of clothing I wear. It's very frustrating that I'm ruining my clothes because of a wrist band. I'll probably have to go and buy a better quality one which is understandable.
