What a miracle this product is
I purchased a few of these. I did my shower diverter and it had no shout off vowels. It made plumbing very easy. It’s so well worth it the extra few dollars that you spend a lot of savings from getting a plumber. Definitely perfect for doing it yourself. It’s really really easy for installation. It is top quality. It fits perfect and I have zero leakage. And this past weekend, I just replaced the line that goes to the outside water Spicket and I had to replace the shut off valve that always leaked whenever you touch it. I’m just so happy how this product works and amazing technology. They put behind it last as long as standard.

OUTSTANDING AND HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
I've done a lot of plumbing work over the years and this was the first time I used Sharkbite instead of copper and soldered fittings. No matter how careful I've been, I've had my share of leaking soldered fittings that had to be resoldered. I was skeptical at first, but after installing a house full of Sharkbite fittings, NOT ONE SINGLE LEAK! I"M SOLD FOREVER! I will never go back to copper and soldered fittings. They're a bit more expensive that standard copper fittings, but they are faster and easier to use so the time saved more than makes up for the slightly higher cost. I highly recommend using Sharkbite fittings and that's all I will ever use again.

So easy to put on and really helped in a tight space
I had to replace a leaking valve that was almost up against the stud, I could see some char from when the valve was first put on, it was so close I had to sweat off thee old valve and was worried about soldering on a new one. This was super easy, slid right in and has held pressure for several weeks. I will default to these in the future.

Terrific replacement for a 42 year old stop valve soldered on copper pipe
The ball valve arrived a day early; thanks I am no plumber by any means and normally don't like to do plumbing repairs but this made it very easy. I had to replace a 42 year old stop off valve, the type that rotates until it shuts off or on, the screw in/out type; it was soldered onto 3/4" copper pipe for the water heater because I went to shut off the cold water to the water heater to flush the heater and water started to squirt out of the valve! I thought that since the valve is open full or closed completely that a ball valve would be the better choice. I don't like to play around with soldering copper pipe so I chose this Sharkbite 3/4" ball valve. It's suppose to work with copper plus other pipe or tubing. I sweated off the old valve and sanded cleaned both ends of the copper so there was no solder remaining; then snapped on the new ball valve and turned on the main shut off. I was surprised that I could do this and not have a leak anywhere! It works great! And I can swivel the handle to wherever I need it for easy access. I totally recommend this "Push-to-Connect ball valve.

I've been meaning (for 8 years now) to run a water line from our house into our attached garage. The main reason was for our fridge ice maker but I also wanted a hose access for those winter months. I finally decided to tackle the project. These are simply amazing. So easy to use and super fast. Once you prep your line properly, you simply push the line in the fitting, make sure it's seated all the way and Done! No more soldering. These are amazing especially for close quarters. Even if you mess up, you can simply remove them and fix your error. I have this one at the end of a temporary line that will go out the side of the garage this summer for an outside hose. (all the way to right of image) It's acting as cap right now but will be used to shut off the outside water during the winter months. Overall, these are a lifesaver. I know many people say these type of fittings don't last but I've seen homes that have had them for years with no leaks. I took a chance with these and I'm confident they will last a long time (hopefully forever). I highly recommend these especially if plumbing is not your thing. Pros: Super easy to install reusable solid, no leaks full brass fitting Cons: costly compared to normal fittings can only re-use so many times
