Rhythm Clocks "Chateau" Musical Motion Clock

The media could not be loaded. I've wanted a rhythm clock for many years but could never bring myself to spend that much money on a clock. My husband purchased this for me as a surprise and I love it so much. It has volume control and even comes with tunes for the holidays. There is a night time sensor that will stop music when it gets dark however it is very sensitive and will stop the music if the room gets even a little dim. In the winter months the last tune plays at the 5pm hour. It had a music off switch and It keeps time very accurately. I really feel that the materials used could be better for a $200 price tag but the plastic used is very sturdy. All in all, I'm very pleased with it.

I purchased the clock as a Christmas present for my wife. She absolutely adored the clock until we could not get the pendulum working. The clock is beautiful, the melodies clear as a bell and the clocket keeps time in silence. But the pendulum didn't work after googling further instructions to trouble shoot and exert further effort to get it going. The most impressive thing was how quickly Amazon acted on the return. It was so simple a child could do it, and they refunded my money within 24 hours. Bravo, bravo, bravo.

Work beautifully

When I opened the box, some of the packing material was not in place to keep clocks little parts steady in shipping. Two D batteries were stated as being included but none were.So far it is working....I will update if I have a problem. I paid $129.99 which I think is high.I paid $100. for my Seico clock 4 years ago at BJ's warehouse which has many more moving elements when it plays the songs.1/254/25 - Update, there is a slick clicking with the constant moving parts. It also clicks on the hour at night when the music does not play.

I like everything about this clock- how it looks, how it sounds and the fact I can switch to different kinds of music

I guess I expected more for the money. The face of the clock looks like a printed piece of paper. The clock is plastic and looks like plastic. The movement is ok and it works just fine. The music plays and sounds ok. I'm just totally disappointed in the appearance.
