Great bottles for sucking up gold. Good quality and the straw is big enough to not get clogged up easily with black sands.

Good size, right balance of plastic flex and sturdiness that is not too soft nor too hard, just right for creating a lot of suction. It even does well on chunky flakes of gold that some snuffers have trouble with. The cap has grip features for easier opening and the cap is curved inside for a better seal for the cap and straw. The straw is a good length, not too sharp on the end, good flex and comes with a cap. Great features, great bottle a joy to use when panning.

Get this and be done looking. They resolved every issue I've had with other snuffer (sniffer/sucker) bottles. Don't "spend-thrift" & waste time/money (or spill your gold!) like I did buying cracking bottles, non-sealing caps, clogging tubes, too-small bottles unable to create enough suction power to suck up gold, bottles too big to carry around on you, too inflexible to squeeze when river-cold, too squishy to self-re-inflated with any force when sun-hot, or too easily sun-brittled. Just buy this. Paid for itself on day one by not losing any gold. July, 2023 update: It's still in service with no cracks, no leaks, working great. Buying more soon just to have them around and give them to sucker-bottle-challenged gold panning friends. Still pleased, and this is after a really, really long time for a bit of plastic. It's been left outside in the baking California sun, freezing temps in winter, set on a radiator heater to dry the contents, clogged by trying to suck up things I knew would'nt fit through the tube, sat on, crushed under rocks, smashed by heavy hammers and rock chisels in my prospecting tool bag, recovered after being washed down river, and has faithfully and securely sucked up and easily dumped out ounces of gold and black sand. My previous review just wasn't enough. This one little item working well saves me sooo much time and energy. I should never have bought those cheap ones just to save a couple of dollars on the most important and ever-present tool for gold gettin'; the one that sucks up and keeps secure the very object of my enormous efforts. It's very hard work, so losing gold at the end is just stupid. I see other people struggle with their cheap or diy suckers and I'm even more glad I bought this. If I could add a sixth rating star, I would.

Best gold sniffer bottle ever, best quality plastic, cool looking design embedded in the plastic so it don't rub off, others bottle I've tried really don't compare. So here's my KAREN reveiw: stop putting that super sticky bar code labels directly on the bottles, someone put two on mine & it was hard to remove & took too much of my valuable time to get it off. Had to run boiling water over it for a while to get most of it off & then had to scrub it with dish soap to remove the rest. what if someone punched you in the face & then ran boiling water over the bruse to try & rub it off . thats how it feels to be a KAREN. so the moral of the story , Don’t be a KAREN. just joking but consider wrapping the bottle in removable shrink wrap plastic then add the concrete labels to that so you can charge $ 2 more for the cost & thank a KAREN for adding more $$ cost & waste to the enviourment buy creating a extra job & income for the seller just to please a self centered KAREN. One more thing, this isnt for sucking buggers from your nose-see your doctor for that.

This particular snuffer just seams kind of week in its suction power but it does its job.

I love them

The plastic on my 30 yo snuffer bottle was getting a little stiff and was worried it would crack in the cold weather. Ordered this as a backup and have been pleased with it. The plastic is much more flexible so the suction works very well to pull the gold out of the pan. The only thing I didn't like was the straw does not fit very tight into the cap so I am constantly readjusting the length. I will be putting a small zip tie around the straw to hold it's length securely in place.

Item as described, will try it out and come-back to edit this review. Just know that the bottle is delivered in a very light bubble envelope, and can be blown away from your door easily on a windy day if you don't have a mailbox!
