The best gadget you didn't know you needed!
I was looking for a USB-C memory stick to store photos and videos from my Samsung S10+; it doesn't take long to fill up the internal memory with HD video files. While browsing available products I came across this amazing gadget; you can connect your phone directly to your laptop without a cable and transfer files between your phone and laptop. The USB-C plug opens up to reveal a Micro USB plug so you can even transfer files to and from older phones. This was just what I needed to copy files from my wife's phone too!The 64GB internal memory in this product is really great. I can move files to the memory stick and download them to my PC when I get home.It is really well made and you turn the memory stick into the bracket to protect the USB plug when not in use. There is also a slot to clip it to a keyring if you desire. This really is the "swiss army knife" of storage gadgets!

50% failure rate
On first impressions it's a nice device, solid metal structure and three different plugs for all types of USB socket, which is why I needed these for a mixture of devices, old and new. However, I received two, and the first one failed while transferring data into it.I have tried assorted methods to access the broken drive but without result, it is either not recognised or trapped into some loop at launch by the system requesting me to format the drive, but the format process loops out and repeats, or fails with an inaccessible drive.I can't return it because the confidential data I was loading into it may still be there. This is the first time in decades that I've had such a drive fail on m.For now I will have to stick to the high end devices, although I sill need the three-way option of all the plugs. So far the second device is working, but I will keep a close eye on it for the next few months and not for critical data.

Very very slow transfers for USB 3.0
I wanted to use this as a temporary back up device for some moderately large files, but transfer speed is so much slower than other USB 3.0 sticks that I have bought in the past. To the extent I had to check that it was actually a USB 3.0 stick, as the speeds are more akin to what I have seen with USB 2.0

An excellent product
A really great product that was so useful in expanding the storage on my phone and transferring files from my laptop to my phone.

Makes photo transfer very easy
This works on the Samsung Edge and Samsung Note 8... and of course, my laptop. It is absolutely and joyously easy to use, you simply plug it into your phone and you'll see it in your Files Directory as an additional drive. Then you can just go to your photos or files or music and select/copy or select/move them onto the USB stick. It lets you create and name new folders so file management is easy too. It's made it so easy to move my photos around now.The only problem I have with it is that it has been designed in a way that does not allow both ends of the unit to be protected. The unit has a normal USB PC and phone connecter combined on one end and a USB-C connector on the other. When you fold it to close, only one side is covered, the other end hangs open so it's going to get damaged by keys or whatever if you keep it in a pocket or loose in a bag. Also, at the time of review, there is no price listed so I don't know if it is good value for money.I would give this product 5 stars if it had a cover for both ends of the stick and if it cost less than £8. My biggest gripe is the cover because it means that potentially, the end could get damaged and my data could become lost. Although I suppose you could use the other undamaged end to download the data onto your phone.4 stars because I'm going to make myself a case out of one the toddler's old socks or even cut a finger off one of my old gloves :-)

Clever, but of limited use.
Great idea, and it works on my phone and laptop. Useful for when you want to open/play files from the flash drive rather than moving files around and then using them. The clever design of getting three different connectors into two jacks is very neat. But the usefulness is limited - I do move files between my laptop and phone, but I use a cable and am happy with it. So the only real benefit is that I can plug is into my phone and use the files directly from the use, which would make sense with large media files. What I really don't like is that the double-ended design means that one end is exposed, and while it is rolling around the bottom on my bag it will get damaged or hoover up lint. That is a pretty major flaw for me.

Handy storage - flexible & commodious
The R+M 3 in 1 USB Flash Drive is a quality storage solution that is both flexible & commodious. This drive has 3 connectors so can be used for 3.0 USB, Type-C and Micro USB meaning that it can be utilised across android phones, game consoles, PCs and laptops. The metal casing and 360° rotation make this a smart and sturdy flash drive. 64GB provides plenty of space for numerous files. I mostly use the drive for transferring files between my laptop and desktop computers and for backing up important files while travelling. Performance and flexibility have been great and I would certainly recommend.

Adds convenience and functionality
Sadly, my smartphone is not compatible (see description of product) but it's great on my Notebook and PC.64gb of memory is fantastic and I can load my photos (I am a serious pro-am photographer) and take with me rather than a heavy device. I have also loaded movies and can watch on my devices or any I borrow.Great to have the two endings - I have found it a pain in the past to keep looking for leads and converters for my kit, but this is fine.Nice looking metal finish; quite a lovely tactile feel.No protector provided to cover ends so I have a little snap top box it fits in (avoid cloth as that can hold and transfer dust etc.).
