I ordered these in error and returned them. I could see they were good quality items but not for the job required.

these work well and seem pretty sturdy and well made, however for my installation they didnt work first time as I wanted a wider open position than these would allow, so had to reduce the max open position so that they would collapse enough to allow full shutting again. Installtion instructions also useless unless you speak Chinese.

Have considered myself fairly capable with all sorts of DIY and can assemble flat-pack furniture with little more than a couple of glances at the picture usually....but nothing had prepared me for the Chinese and seemingly hieroglyphic "instructions" that came with this - was a table of random numbers but zero description of how to actually fit them.. This is part of the reason they stayed on the kitchen counter for a few weeks, while I tried to get my head around how to do the fitting.. With a combination of calculations and (multiple) tests to work out how they go, finally got to a position that meant they were able to both fully extend and also allow the flap to close properly......but....well........check the video.. Am now unable to either have the flap [held by these] in the fully open *or* fully closed position....just a constant ⅓ open, meaning that it sticks out and blocks the light and gets in the way - am constantly half-expecting to knock my head on the corner of it..... Will be taking it off once this is posted....shame it's been too long to return them...

All good so far. No problem to install. Instructions in Chinese but the diagram is easy to read. Hope they last the test of time.

Performs as expected

Ordered 4x for some bin shed lids. Only 1 was about the 200NM described. 1 about 150NM so managed one lid. The others about 50nm max I could close them easily by hand so they'll be going back. They look good and were easy to install. However 2 screws missing, the screw that holds the struts to the attachment bracket is not wide enough to be safe in my opinion. I Put some metal washers on to solve that. Unsure if supposed to be included but neither 4 packs had one. One bracket was rusty inside a sealed packet? Roll of the dice struts if you want to do a job cheap... If you want it done first time do not buy these.

Il est bien entendu qu’il n’est pas à utiliser pour lever la tondeuse dans le garage C’est pour du mobilier 🤷‍♂️

those work really well for our chest w a very heavy wood lid. very strong and smooth. only downside might be that it could be rather fiddly to fit them if you have a recessed internal compartment. miss the alignment and the lid will end up not closing. but overall for most setups it will be perfectly fine.

Bought these Lid Support Hinges for my cedar chest, and just one did the job perfectly. Highly recommend!
