DONT EVEN THINK ABOUT THIS....ITS THE RIGHT DECISION..SAVED MY LIFE!
This dpf cleaner is cost-effecient, easy to use, and is a no Brainerd if your vehicle is having dpf issues. Initially, when I brought my car to the volkswagen dealership, they said that this repair would cost $8,000. I couldn't afford it. So I towed my car home, took what little saving I had and bought an old BMW, just to get around... I was about ready to donate my vw, when I ran across this product while I was shopping on Amazon. Try it. It will save you a lot of time, money, and heartache. THANK YOU MOTOR POWER CARE INC!!!

Easy to use and good value
I used this product on a 2015 RAM 1500 EcoDiesel with 110K miles. I kept getting P24AE codes and a permanent one. I'm not super mechanical but this looked like a simple and affordable way to attempt a fix without the high price tag of replacement or cleaning of the DPF by a shop. I picked this product over several competitors based on its ease of use and value for money. It wasn't the cheapest but not the most expensive either. The instructions say to remove the upper temperature probe to insert the tube, but I found it much easier to remove the DEF injector on my RAM and go in from that port. The plus side of that was I noticed the DEF injector was partially plugged by congealed DEF, so I got to clean that out too and I think that removed a permanent P24AE code. Anyway, the tube was ample long to reach the DPF and I just had to hold down the button and occasionally rotate the can to ensure coverage. As for the fuel additive, just do some math for the application amount and poor it in. After I applied the squirt solution, I drove the truck and lucked into a regenerative cycle (I can't manually make the truck do it). It may be wishful thinking, but the truck felt more responsive. After the drive, my scanner picked up zero codes.

Good so far.
After doing foam cleaner I drove an hour to work and engine light is still off. I've turned it off before and it would come back on within 5 minutes. Very hopeful that between the cleaner and the fuel additive the light stays off.

Best 43.00 Dollars I have ever spent.
I have a 2014 VW Jetta TDI that I just bought, and I didn't know that driving two miles to work was not good for the Diesel Particulate Filter. The warning light came on in my dashboard. So, I took it easy and went to work for a few more days. Trying to figure out where it was. Then the glow plug light starts flashing and the turbo quit working. I could barely get to 30 mph. I searched on You tube on how to fix it. Got on Amazon and found "Motor Power Care Catalytic Converter & DPF Foam Cleaner". Read directions but I didn't have an O2 sensor removing tool so I took apart the inlet side of the exhaust pressure sensor that was on the top right side of the engine. I started and warmed up the engine, shut it off and inserted the tube that came with the cleaner, down that hose kind of pulling on the hose so that I could get it in about 10 inches. Then with a paper towel I tried to seal it off as good as I could and sprayed the whole can in, holding the towel for a minute longer, for the pressure to go down. Put everything back together and drove to the gas station and it was already acting better. I then poured in about 6 oz. of "Motor Power Care DPF Filter Purge" and filled the tank with diesel fuel. And took a little road trip on the interstate in 4th gear so the engine was about 2800 rpm. In about ten miles the glow plug light quit flashing, and the turbo charger started working and in another five miles the DPF light on the dash went out too, and it was running like a champ. It took me about 3 hours from the start to finish to complete the whole job. The Best $43.00 I ever spent. I highly recommend this cleaner. I don't know about the others, but this stuff is a WINNER to me.

Fixed P2002!
I got this for my dad's 18 Chevy Silverado 2500HD his registration was due, but the $ light was on w code P2002 Diesel particulate filter below threshold. I cleared the code, then I removed the temp sensor in front of DPF and sprayed the entire bottle of cleaner and put sensor back. Added the other bottle to the Diesel and w my scan tool forced regeneration. Took 30 mins. Said soot level was down to 0% when complete. He drove 300 miles to complete drive cycles and the $ light came back! I was disappointed, but I cleared the code again and this time he drove til the drive cycles completed and got his emissions passed! The $ light hasn't come back!

Scam … didn’t work
Didn’t work… I applied it as the instructions recommend, it never eliminated the problem but rather increased the number of times the OBD code shows up.

I don't usually leave reviews, my 2011 bmw x5 35d was getting the dpf light and would lack power during acceleration and causing hard shifts so I bought a can of this stuff as a last ditch effort before making the plunge into deleting everything. I removed the temp sensor from the dpf and tryed to put the hose adapter from the foam can into the dpf which did not fit so I just held it snuggly to the hole and spayed the can into it, I could hear it filling the dpf gurgling and the sound of flowing air until the can was empty, once it was empty I put the sensor back in the started the car for like 1 senond just to what I feel is push the foam throughout the dpf, let it sit for 10 mins then went for a highway drive for about 30 mins at about 2300 rpms. After the drive the power is back, the shifts are smooth and the warning light is gone still one week later. My x5 has 253000 kms on it and now drives like new. Love this stuff will be my go to when my 2018 x5 35d starts to show problems Aswell, great product
