This is a great tool in the kitchen! I use it for shredded carrot salad and for cheese for homemade pizza

Works well. Very easy to clean. I have used this with cheese, potatos, lettuce and pickles.

makes easy work of any block of cheese. it is quick and the cut quality is on point. i like the versatility of the different cut blades..

Cuts and shreds okay, but because of its design, you cannot place a bowl under the shooter part to catch the pieces because the shooter and the base project out to the same length. This requires you to hold the shooter in the air at an angle over a bowl to catch everything. (Our old salad shooter had a recessed base allowing placement of a container under the shooter part so it would catch everything) Old design was better.

I needed to shred a ton of cheese for our Easter meal. This did the job so much faster than I could. My arm got tired of holding it after awhile but it was far better than the discomfort of hand shredding so much cheese and I didn't have a big piece leftover that was too small to shred without shaving my fingers.

I use this to shred my blocks of cheese! It’s wonderful and does a 2 pound block in about 3 minutes! Fresh real cheese is so much better than the store bought shredded cheese. With this I never dread doing it. We always have shredded cheese on hand!
