Light weight and microwave
I bought these for a second time because my 91 year old mom is having trouble lifting regular mugs. These are pretty but function is what we need at this point so light weight and able to microwave. These work.

Beautiful, BUT ...
I love the bi-colored pattern, but it said it was 10-oz, which I think of as holding a 10-oz cup of coffee. Nope. Ten ounces would virtually overflow; they hold a 8-oz cup of coffee, not how I like to set my Keurig for the optimum strength. Oh, well.

Love these mugs!
I use these mugs every day for coffee , tea and hot chocolate. Their handles are comfortable, and because they are porcelain, the mugs are lighter weight than a ceramic mug. They complement my blue and white collection scattered throughout the house. Perfect!

Perfect.
These are the cutest mugs I ever had. I was looking for this style all over and I finally found it. It doesn’t matter that they are made in China. They are good size, not too large and not too small. They are light weight and just perfect.

I USED to be very happy with this purchase, but now...
An update: I received these on December 9. On February 15, after using one particular cup two or three times a week, I noticed a fine line crack (near the handle) from the top to the bottom of the cup. They are advertised as dishwasher safe and I did put it in the dishwasher. My husband, our four children and I used my origianl Blue Willow dishes every day for over twenty years. We are still using them, so I know some blue willow dishes can hold up to a lot of use. I knew these were thinner, but I am disappointed that the one cup I used didn't last more than a few months. A side note, and fourth photo: The blue of these cups are a slightly brighter blue than my original blue willow dishes (fifth photo). My original review is below: I knew this fine bone china would be thinner than my average weight mugs. These cups are 1/16 of an inch wide at the lip, as opposed to most of my mugs whcih are 1/8 of an inch. I was also aware that these are 10 oz., not 12 oz. However, I am a fan of the Blue Willow pattern and these are very beautiful. I love that the lip turns out just a bit, both for aesthetics and for ease of drinking. The handle is not as easy to hold as some, but I don't anticipate that to be bothersome. They fit in the top rack of my dishwasher just fine. Unless they turn out to be brittle, I think I will be using them for a long time.
