Some past reviews have bemoaned the lack of a seal on the bottle, but I would like to reassure current buyers that in fact the bottle does arrive with a seal on it. Some criticisms have noted that the lotion is watery. Well, yes, it is kind of watery, but I don’t find that a problem. It still covers the area with enough lotion. A thin coating dries more quickly. You may find that dabbing it on provides better coverage than rubbing it on. What I like is that there are no extraneous additives. When you are choosing among different brands of calamine, you should check the ingredients. This one lists just calamine and zinc oxide. There are also versions with an external analgesic added, which I have not tried but may be worth trying.

When I was child, I use a calamin lotion which was thick material with wonderful results, unfortunately I didn't remember its name, but it was not watery like this product.
