Immortals Fenyx Rising - Xbox One Standard Edition

When I initially purchased my Series X at launch I was looking for something to play that was optimized for the Series X/S and I ended up going with the new CoD. Don't get me wrong CoD on the X is a visual powerhouse, but it really didn't keep me interested very long, so I traded it in for Cyberpunk 2077 because they didn't have Immortals Fenyx Rising in stock. That night I looked on Amazon and saw that they had it in stock, as well as on sale so I bought the standard edition. I've never been a huge fan of Assassins Creed (though I've heard that the newer games are better) and I know that Immortals was developed by the studio responsible for the highly praised AC Odyssey, but with the visual style of Nintendo's, Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Let me just say that if you've been even slightly interested in this game, do yourself a favor and get this game immediately, you won't regret it. The visuals, while cartoonish have a very detailed Disney quality to the characters and animation. The controls are very easy to get used to, and if you don't like the setup you can map your own buttons. The story is pretty straightforward, but the narration by Prometheus and Zeus keep the story, and events humorous as well as interesting by throwing in different stories about Greek mythology. There are plenty of things like Vaults of Tartaros, and side quests to keep you occupied, and the puzzles can sometimes seem difficult, it's usually because I'm over thinking. I'm playing on Normal difficulty and it seems pretty balanced as far as enemies go, and more seasoned gamers might want to up the difficulty. I've put nearly 40 hours into this game so far and I'm a little over a quarter of the way through the story, though to be honest I'm taking my time and I'm trying to complete everything because I'm having a great time playing. Easily one the best games I've played in a while, and I'll definitely be purchasing the season pass

I purchased this title because it looked like it could be fun and engaging. It has far surpassed my expectations in game play and entertainment value. I don't play online games because I only have at most an hour here and there to enjoy some down time. I've been playing this game for several days now and it's still going strong. I purchased the Xbox One version.

Hilarious commentary, great story arc (haven't gotten through the DLC yet, AC Valhalla delayed me!) and wonderful graphics. Played it on the One X, ran so smooth, 4K 30fps. On the Series X, it is massive leap in performance.....smooth as silk and no slowdown, even in massive boss fights. It's not as big or as long as other UbiSoft open works games, but very enjoyable, fun, playful, a ton to do, and a pleasure to look at. Zelda clone? Nah, maybe in art style, a few elements, but a great game on it's own.

This game kind of went un noticed for me until I found the demo on Xbox live. I’m always happy when a game pleasantly surprises me, I love the way the gear system works and how you get new armor and weapons. My first set of armor after the beginning had a super sick look and I got it very early on. You can also take the looks of any armor/weapon and use the stats of another if there’s a piece of equipment that you don’t want to get rid of. I’m about 10 hours in so far and I’ve got to say it was money well spent and a very good game.

This is a great game, enjoyable story with tons on content. It plays perfect on the Xbox Series X. This version also runs on the XBox One with no issue. Some missions can be pretty hard but overall the game is a great play. There are tons of reviews about game play, so I will stick to disc review. The package is the standard XBox one case, good cover with all important details listed. My game came with Day One bonus DLC even years after the game was released. The disc installs to the hard of the console and plays from that but still needs to be in the console to play. Just like another physical game. It worked without needing an update at first and updated as soon as I connected to the internet.
