Inspired me to start learning to improvise some left hand patterns to go with easy right melodies. Easy book.

Some folks misunderstand the "E-Z Play" format. These are (1) often simplified arrangements and (2) provided for the treble clef only, with chord suggestions above the staff -- this is similar to the layout of a "lead sheet" or fake book (though lead sheets and fake books may include more advanced arrangements.While I'm experienced sufficiently to not need the training wheels of the E-Z play format my visual degradation due to being older, does find the large notes quite easy to read. Though I play a keyboard now, I learned music as an accordionist -- and relatively little music comes in accordion arrangements. So, long ago, I became accustomed to working from lead sheets (which are generally not specific to any one instrument) and am accustomed to inserting my own base clef in an appropriate style to the particular piece of music.So with this understanding, the selection of Simon & Garfunkel pieces included in this book cover the bulk of their most popular songs. The player may embellish these arrangements as they might wish.

I LOVE THE PIANO MUSIC BOOK. BUT WISH IT HAD MORE MUSIC THAN IT HAS

I can play this stuff and I'm loving it. I've been learning for 10 months at this point. Since I am older, I went for the "fake" way of learning and this book is completely do-able. Some songs easier than others, but enough to keep me in the game.

I wanted all S&G songs, more than half were Paul Simon songs when he went solo.

After spending many months looking for this particular E-Z Play Today book "Simon and Garfunkel", I was amazed to see it was listed online at Amazon. When the book arrived promptly, I was very pleased to see that all of their most popular tunes were listed and looked like they were going to be very easy to play. So far, I am very pleased with this book and would recommend it to anyone who like their style of music.

Really easy to follow. Able to play the songs very quickly. All my favourites are in this book. I love it.

A little too basic for me wanted something a little more challenging music good but basic

Some really lovely music which I am trying hard to play well! Anyone looking for easy play will not be disappointed in this book.

Ok for a total beginner but too basic if you've already got those blisters on your finger ends.
