Happy with this ice cream scoop, it does the job well.

Long enough to hold well in one hand, with a (slightly soft) rubberised undersize for grip. The thumb-pressed ejector has enough strength in it to push out the ice cream (unlike cheap ones that just split or break). Super easy to wash (especially because i can just pop it in the dishwasher. Good overall.

The media could not be loaded. While this works well initially, I was hoping more for a “perfect” scoop of ice scream, but you don’t get much better than using a spoon.Also, the ejector, while nice and springy, does tend to stick after only a couple of scoops, and will be awkward to clean/dry afterwards.I don’t think in my cutlery drawer there’s ever been such a thing as an ice scream scoop, so this was a novelty to have. It fits quite well in the cutlery drawer and doesn’t stick in the drawer, due to being too bulky etc. It feels nice in your hand and is easy and comfortable to hold but I’m just a bit disappointed with the overall design and not getting a perfect ice cream scoop.

I have had to throw this item away, as every time I use it, it leaves a black film on the ice cream left in the tub. It is washed regularly, after use, and I rather hoped this problem would go after a few washes. However, it has not, and continues to leave my ice cream with black streaks! Obviously not good for presentation.

Comfortable to hold and use - it doesn’t feel too big. Between using the scoop, I keep it in some boiling water. The shape of the scoop head makes this really well designed, it runs through the ice cream really smoothly and forms a nice scoop.The scoop doesn’t really feel very ‘durable’ and it’s really difficult to actually clean properly.The scoop itself came with a lot of imperfections on it. The quality doesn’t really bother me as it’s an ice cream scoop. I do think it’s somewhat overpriced as there are better alternatives available. I don’t think the scoop is very well made.The handle is easy to hold and the little hole at the top of the scoop to hang it up is also handy. It does look smart. Don’t think I’d recommend washing it in the dish washer.

I am used to the classic chunky round ice cream scoop style. This one is elongated and makes it difficult to form round balls. The little flicker tool is a bit pointless. That said, you can still use it as a perfectly normal ice cream scoop. Does the job but sometimes the traditional design beats new inventions.
