These are about as wide as your little finger. Yes, very small, but they have a grip you won't believe. They are easy to open, they open wide, and they grab hold and don't let go. Spring is strong and durable yet easy to open, and they look AMAZING. I love the look of several together, they're like tiny little blossoms in your hair and they work without calling attention to themselves. SUCH a good value, to get so many for so little money. Super cute, durable, and whenever you have some loose strands from your large clip, just add a couple of these to rope them in. These are my favorite clips of the dozens I have in the house.

Even though I'm not a little girl anymore, I really like wearing tiny hair clips. They add a lot of personality to my hair styles. It's hard to find these tiny ones anymore where I shop, so I was happy to see them on Amazon. Fifteen clips - three each of 5 colors: Black, Clear, Light tortoiseshell, Dark tortoiseshell, and Matte black. They have 3 prongs and hold my fine hair securely. Good buy.

Love these and have bought them twice now! The grip and hold is perfect for my medium thick hair. I like the two different brown colorway options so I can match them to my outfits. The rubber band grip inside is super helpful. They are very sturdy and I have had them for at least a year now and they have not broken.

These are good for just clipping up a part of my hair, but none of the listings for these make the sizes easy to really know. These are SMALL... like really small. I cannot put up more than MAYBE half of my hair. If you are looking for small ones, then these are great quality. I sometimes just clip the front of my hair up on top of my head and this will work great for that. However, I can't put my hair up in a bun or flip it up from the back and let it hang over like I do with my favorite ones.I have now purchased just about every clip available on here and can say that the pictures for all of these absolutely do NOT help with figuring out the size. If my pictures can be uploaded, then hopefully you can see the differences in each clip. The one on the very right is the mini clip from this listing. You can see the huge difference in the "mini" (labeled as small clip on the packaging) versus the other "medium" ones.The very left one has the rubber pieces on the inside and not the hair band while the other three have the hair band. I have always had long hair so I needed one particular type of clip. However, I cut most of my hair off this year to donate to Locks of Love which ended up changing how I can use my clips. Both of these styles seem to be of use for my hair because I have what I figure is "regular" hair... not super fine but not thick. So, for me, the main concern is the size.The one on the left was not listed as a specific size, but is very close to the 1/4 claws with the hair bands in them. Not exactly the same size, though, and is slightly larger. The 2nd one in from the left is the 1/2 claws and say medium on the packaging but are extremely large in my opinion. Probably great for keeping up a bun or something similar but not even CLOSE to the same size as the 1/4 claws (third one from the left) that are also called medium on the packaging. Then the last one is the mini claw which is referred to as small.NONE of these clips were available in my local store anymore and they are all much higher quality than the cheap ones that they have available. I will never buy from my local store again because of the bad quality. None of these are immune to breakage and in the past I've had issues with some of them breaking fast. However, all of the ones that I received have been decent quality and aside from size issues... I like them.

These are good for fine, thin hair!!!

I have used these hair clips for YEARS. They are harder to find in Walmart or Target, and I forget to look. I ordered these because of convenience. AND I was excited for the 2-pack which meant *4* clips! However, they are old school...there's no squishy, non-slip rubbery piece inside. I don't have super thick hair and I can already tell these clips are going to slip out and NOT hold up as well as the last pack I had.
