I recommend James Allen to ANYONE who is truly seeking their purpose and any sort of spiritual guidance. His books have changed my life.

Calling James Allen's books, writings, and life story "Inspirational" almost seems an insult to me.Just reading his life story and the adversity that he had to overcome, in itself made me think; If he could overcome so much in such a short life, there is no reason that I cannot succeed in life as well. (1864-1912).Download the sample or buy it at this fantastic price. I had heard of his book "As a man thinketh", but had never read it. You get a complete collection here.Do yourself a favor and get these books. If only to enrich your life. Completely worth the low price and so much more.Thank you.I always add this because of the world we live in now.These are my own personal views and observations.

James Allen, (deceased 1912 just before the Titanic hit an iceberg and sank) is the best writer for you if you want to understand life. I mention his time of death so you can get an idea of the stamina of his writings. Try Devorss Publishing "As A Man Thinketh" edition for a good start with James Allen. It's also a very handy size to carry with you. I have no ties with any publisher.

My son is incarcerated and had some issues, he lived this set. He feels like it really helps him.

Words cannot describe the wealth of knowledge I am receiving from this collection.

Allen is way beyond personal development... starting with "As A Man Thinketh", he gets into thought process, value systems, etc. A must read for anyone/everyone who is truly interested in beng all they can be.

I purchased this after reading, 'As a man thinketh' but it is hard to see on the dark blue background plus it will not let you highlight anything. It is good to have in the library but if I find a better copy I will use that, do not read this unless you are desperate because you will get a headache, not so much if you enlarge the type. I was disappointed but what can you say for .49 cent, hopefully the younger people can enjoy but I must look for something else.

So good to have so many books in one. James Allen spoke a truth all should here.

The messages of James Allen could have had a greater impact. The narrator kills any desire to proceed further into the manificent works of its creator. It's best to listen to this at bedtime, to better allow the subconscious to absorb the message. If you are awake and conscious you will quickly fall into a stupor listening to the painful oration of a wonderful piece of enlightenment that is James Allen. Stick with the books.
