High Quality Keypad for Wired Installations
Keypad is well made and very durable. Electronics are sealed and will last a long time in harsh conditions. This keypad is replacing a battery operated video keypad from Chamberlain that greatly struggles with battery life. Needed a keypad that is not dependent upon batteries! This keypad is perfect for this type of application. I also had a positive interaction with their support center when installing due to an initial weak power source. I recommend buying a separate power supply when purchasing this keypad, they are readily available and inexpensive. Used old telephone wire for power and opener connections. And used a CAT 6 junction box to connect wiring to the keypad.Programming can be just a bit cumbersome, but if you close pay attention to the light color codes you'll be fine.Overall an excellent product for wired applications!

Works perfectly for my garage door opener
I like that it is very well sealed and seems very solid. I also like that it works as described. At first I was confused by the number of wires coming out of it, but It has several wires that end up not being used for my application. It’s been a while since I installed it but I think there are only 4 wires that I used. I bought a small transformer for a power source and hooked it up with two wires, and then two more wires for the control of the door. It uses a four digit code to control the opener. This of course may be changed to whatever code is desired. It also comes with two little “fobs” that you simply hold near the controller to operate the door. The keypad is always lit from within so you can easily see the keys in the dark. It beeps each time you press a key, which annoys some but isn’t a big deal for me.The unit is on a wall of my garage that directly faces driving rain. I’m in Northern California and we’ve had a lot of rain lately and this little gadget has taken it all without skipping a beat. I’m very happy with it and recommend it to others.

No phone support, bitch to program!
Had high hopes. The quick program guide is different than advanced guide. Support is within 24 hours, Whoo Hoo and via email only. What a joke. I'm retired IBM computer analyst and still sharp enough to tell a BS product and basically zip for support. Imagine how long it will take trading emails.

Seems quality. My garage door opener doesn't supply 12V
It took me a bit of time to get it installed. One complication is that my garage door opener doesn't seem to provide 12V power. The instructions for the keypad included suggested wiring instructions to garage door openers that provides 12V power, so I guessed that was fairly standard. But mind doesn't. Mine has 4 wire connections. Two for the open/close switch. And two for the door sensors. I thought maybe the door sensor connections might double as 12V power. But I only read 6V across. So, I had to provide my own 12V power. The buttons are always lighted, since it is continuously powered from an external source. Which is nice in the dark. One user said the button beeps are too loud. I see his point , it is louder than necessary. But not a big deal to me. One user said there were errors in the instructions. I didn't have any issues with the instructions. It weights like a pound or more, very substantial feeling. When you take off the back cover, you see the entire case is "potted", epoxy filled which makes the internals impervious to water. The wire is about 8" long, which is shorter than I'd like but I will of course connect to it. But would be nicer if longer. One thing to note is, and not a fault of the unit but a limitation of any wired access panel, and that is, someone that knows how doors work could just rip the keypad off the wall and jumper the wires and open the door. I have additional security, so I'm not too worried about it. And few criminals would even know that they could do that. They probably wouldn't even realize it is a wired keypad. So, I think it is unlikely to actually happen. But technically it could. Again, that is a limitation of it being a wired keypad. But I've had too much trouble with wireless not working due to interference or whatever so I'm switching to wired. Something to keep in mind though.Overall very happy with the product.

Works great
Excellent keypad. Appears to be very weather resistant, I replaced a GTO (Mighty Mule) gate opener keypad that is exposed to the elements and has been in service for a couple of years and has worked flawlessly. Just purchased a second one to replace a garage door opener keypad. Check some of the YouTube videos out on how to program them, I had to wipe out all of the stored key codes before I could get it to program correctly.

Absolutely GREAT product and supplier
This is a great universal keypad with dry contacts as well as digital interconnects. The unit is easy to program and has enough user codes available for a small city if needed. I highly recommend this product because it is totally waterproof and there are no batteries to go dead or not make good contact in the weather plus there is no wireless signal to be hacked. I used a dedicated power supply along with the dry relay contacts so I had no fight coordinating another person to help mate the unit to my garage door opener nor trying to hack into the opener to find a compatible power source. It could not be easier - just program a user, hook it up and it works flawlessly first time.Their technical department and customer service is one of the best I have encountered. I ask a question and received an almost immediate response and the communication is absolutely superior. The pix is my installation on a starboard backing beside my garage door with the wiring protected by a metal tube into the backing board into the door facing camouflaged with caulk so a pocket knife cannot cut the wires easily. When I need another coded keypad this will be the one I use. I could not be happier with a product.

Not for vintage garage door openers.
Could not wire it for basic push-button operation.
