Highly effective top water lure!!
First off I’d like to say that I grew up fishing with the smithwick devils horse which is a wood plug prop bait that looks very similar to this. It has been my go to for years and I still carry a few of them in my tackle box. Having said that I purchased two of these to give them a shot after seeing someone on the water tearing it up with one of these on the line. This lure is honestly one of the best lures I have now. It casts a mile and even better is it has the ability to stay in the hole which allows you to twitch it a few times. The props stay functional throughout the day and after catching several dozen fish over several trips the lure itself still appears as if it’s new. My only real complaint is that the eyelet you tie your line on has a small gap at the bottom, almost like they didn’t close it all the way. The first time I used this lure I hooked a bass, the bass jumped out of the water and threw its head around and the next thing I knew there’s goes the bass with my lure in its mouth. I then picked up my spare and after looking at it closer I noticed the gap on the eye. My suggestion would be to pinch that eye a little closer to close the gap. Also when using lures of this type you have to use mono, or if using braid you have to use a litter. If you use just braid the line will get wrapped up in the front prop which will affect the way the lure functions!!

Bass killer
I love a prop lure...they are coming back into fashion...for the fisherman...apparently never went out of favor for the fish...I've caught several bass on this enticing lure, whites, largemouths, smallmouths...they can't resist it....the only downside is line tends to wrap around front prop, especially with limp lines like braid or fused...recommend fluorocarbon for this lure.

Works if used properly
It’s a water popper.. Us it the way it’s intended and you’ll shall see success. It’s not rocket science; lure science.

Works great, even in chop
Lure worked great on my first evening of using it in Michigan. Brought it out on a choppy even (just because I wanted to use it.) First used it with a jerk and pause retrieve and caught a decent longnose gar that came at it fast. Few casts later caught a largemouth on a slow constant retrieve. In summary, the fish will hit this lure on a constant or snap and pause retrieve. The props make a nice noise/splash to trigger big strikes. Can't wait to use it more, especially on a calm day!
