This shower chair is exactly what I needed. (Nurse) It’s very sturdy and feels completely safe to use. Assembly was quick and easy — no tools or stress required. It’s also comfortable to sit in, and the adjustable height and suction feet make it stable and secure in the tub. For the quality, it’s very reasonably priced. Highly recommend for anyone needing extra support in the shower.

This shower chair arrived in pieces in a box. It is VERY easy to assemble. The seat is very generous and has built-in handles to assist with standing up. It also has a slightly curved back— it’s a CHAIR, not a stool. The chair has adjustable height legs with rubber anti-slip bottoms and it is very sturdy and stable. The seat and back do have a small, slightly raised pattern texture also to aid in not slipping off the chair. I do expect to need to use a scrub brush on it to keep it clean. The shower chair is good value for the money, but while it is generous in size, it does take up a lot of space. Our free standing shower stall has a built in bench which is unsafe to sit on as it’s sloped and slippery). The chair took up too much room so we had to return it. It would probably be great in a tub shower but if you have a free-standing shower, be sure to consider the chair’s dimension when deciding! Overall, it is an excellent product.

Sturdy and easy to assemble. Affordable and can be adjusted for the height you want.

I just put the bench together (didn't want the backrest). It wasn't hard to do and we'll see how it does in the shower. But I give it a 4, or maybe a 3. To put the bench together it said to use the short screw in the middle and the long ones on the 4 ends which I did. But the long ones seem too long. All 4 are pushing thorugh the seat. They haven't pushed through and I think the seat is OK to use but still! One review said to use the 4 short screws on the bench but the instructions were quite clear to use the long ones and I followed what they said!

I bought this for a family member to assist with safe bathing. It is an example of the refinement and value of modern manufacturing. Light, strong, easy to assemble, well-designed, attractive, and the correct size to fit in a bathtub. Assembly is done using hand-tightening wing nuts, which is brilliant, as the nuts have plastic wings which are strong yet easy on the fingers, and if any nut gets loose, it can be fixed immediately without having to search for a tool and possibly putting off or forgetting the task. But one must remember to check their tightness periodically. Some of the nuts on ours tend to loosen gradually, and this reduces the stability and safety of the chair. For this reason, I awarded 4 out of 5 stars for stability. With nuts tightened, it gets a 5. One special note about the design: the chair has a random, non-repeating relief pattern to grip the body when sitting on it. It looks somewhat like an aerial view of lakes or puddles on a landscape, and is a particularly beautiful, interesting pattern, as it does not appear to repeat, and looks very natural. The designer blended the edges of the pattern in with the straight boundaries of the textured area so as to avoid awkward corners, showing impressive attention to detail and aesthetics. It's the kind of subtle elegance that I really appreciate in some products. Bravo to the designer!
