Works great! This is the mirror display you need to see your image in full sun!
My wife loved this - worked really well with the license plate camera from Pyle - very bright night image.Update: 7/8/17Installed a second one of these using a different camera - this is the mirror you need if you want to be able to see the image in full sunlight. I recently purchased a different mirror/display from a company to remain nameless (P#le) for my truck - it is so dim it is not usable in daylight at all. Just a ghost of an image. The Boyo mirrors are very bright - look-alikes are not the same! Save your money and buy this one. Seems to work with any camera - I have tried two different cameras and both have been crystal clear. I will be buying another one to replace the P#le one in my truck as it just doesn't come close to this one for image quality.

Good mirror. Works just as designed and advertised
This mirror works exactly as designed and advertised. It works perfect with my back up camera, and my passenger loves to watch movies on it while we drive. The display is not bright enough to be clear in direct sunlight, but works well in all other conditions. Installation in my vehicle was especially easy because I have a D style mount.

Disappointed in the mirror...
I have installed this mirror to my Acura TL and the installation was a breeze. It comes with the universal bracket and screw which are perfect fit in the original spot. After the installation, the mirror works good, the screen has a little sun glaze but it was because the way the camera mounted, it has nothing to do with the mirror. Everything was fine until I start driving the car then the mirror starts shaking. Initially i thought maybe i forgot to tighten the bracket. Turn the car around, check everything, the bracket was secure. The wire was secure and nothing came loose as I know. Start driving again and the mirror was shaking vigorously until I physically apply pressure to the mirror then it stopped. I tried it for 3 days but couldn't stand it anymore. It gives me headache every time I check it for traffic behind me. It's frustrated to the point I had to install the factory mirror back again. I bought this mirror based on the good review in here. Maybe I received a defective one .. I'm not sure but I won't recommend this to any body else. ....PRO: Easy to install with provided bracket.CON: The glass itself shakes a lot while the vehicle in motion. Not good for rear view mirror...

Nice Looking, but..
I just installed this on my 07 Civic. After my drive to work this morning, it may be going back. The glare from the headlights from the vehicles behind me drove me nuts. When it mentions that its self dimming, I thought it was electromagnetic, but its not. The screen washes out in the day light even after adjusting the brightness and too small to see much detail. I also had to buy an adapter to make it work with the mirror mount already there. Seems like a quality made product but the instructions a vague at best. I would purchase something different if headlight glare in the mirror bothers you.

Overall decent mirror. Some glare issues, and a design flaw with the Video 1 feed.
Build quality is good, aesthetics are good, and easy to install. Part of the problem with rearview mirrors that have the monitors behind the glass is that the display can be next to impossible to see because of reflection and glare. And this particular mirror has a design flaw, at least in my opinion. Granted, most users will only have a rearview camera hooked up, but I'm trying to use it for a front camera. If you wire everything as it was intended, the rearview camera would go to the "Camera" input and be triggered to appear when the vehicle is put in reverse, and the second cam to "Video 1", which would appear when the power button is short-pressed one time. In my case I just wired my front cam to Video 1. As soon as the mirror is powered up, the cam immediately appears even if you don't want to use it. This means you have to manually press the power button to turn off the camera. The way it should be is that an image should only appear when prompted by the user when needed. Having to turn off the camera from the Video 1 input before I start to drive is an inconvenience.Boyo tech support is just fair, with the exception of one guy that is really good. He actually got a unit from the warehouse, bench-tested it, and said that yes, the Video 1 cam is doing that with this mirror and yet another model. So, Boyo needs to change that. What I did was actually put the front camera in the rearview input, and then had to install a switch and relay to supply reverse power to the proper wire to trigger the camera on, but only when I wanted the cam image to appear. Again, I should not have to do that. If I were to hook up the OEM reverse cam to the mirror (it appears through the OEM head unit right now, but would be nice to move it) and have the front cam to Video 1, I would have the front camera come up automatically when turning on the car... I don't want that, Boyo.Again, most people will only hook up a rear camera. So, still seeing how this set up works.

Good product, works at all light levels, speedy shipping
I bought this mirror to replace another mirror that was almost impossible to use in daylight due to glare on the screen. I was most impressed with the display quality I got from this mirror at all light levels. The product was well made and shipped very quickly. Unfortunately this mirror uses a 'D' mount and my Honda uses a cam-lock mount so a converter purchase was necessary.More advanced info on mounting and/or and adapter would be 5 stars from me.

I had this Boyo rear view mirror installed by the Geek squad. The clarity of the picture portrayed on the mirror is excellent. It's everything you want from a back up rear view mirror monitor. It's unobtrusive, it replaced my old rear view mirror perfectly. Also, what's nice about this rear view monitor is when not in use, you see "NO" outlay of the 4.3" screen on the mirror. Great product, and am very pleased to have!
