Amazon Basics Single Monitor Stand, Lift Engine Arm Mount, Black

I actually tried to purchase this product several months back but it was out of stock and I ended up buying two Ergotron LX mounts instead LX Desk Mount LCD Arm . So, first thing's first. The Amazon Basics mount is essentially a reverse engineered LX with very few differences. So, first, I'll talk about the Amazon Basics and then I'll give some comparisons to the LX. Installation - super easy. Attach the VESA plate to your monitor that's attached to the arm, attach the desk mount, and then just put them together. There are a couple of adjustments that can be made - you can lock the collar on the arm that mounts onto the desk pole. I like to keep mine up a bit higher so I locked the collar near the top of the pole. The other adjustment is tightening the springs in the arms. This is done with the allen key wrench that's provided. Couldn't get much easier. Look / Feel - the Amazon Basics mount feels sturdy - metal in all the places you'd expect it to be for structural rigidity and plastic in the areas that don't warrant the strength. The style is very blah - if you want black, then you're in luck, because there's a lot of it. It's not unattractive by any means but it won't draw any attention either. Comparison with the Ergotron LX I hate to beat a dead horse, but the Amazon version really is a blatant copy of the Ergotron. From the packaging (from what I can remember) all the way down to the cable management design on the arm, it's nearly identical. One area where the Ergotron wins out is in the style department. Not only are they excellent mounts, but they are very nice to look at. Where the Amazon mount gets the job done and won't create an eye sore, you'll actually want to have your ergotrons on display. They really do look nice. Another slight difference between the two is the depth of the locking knob on the Amazon. It is a little lower than the one on the Ergotron. I have a space that's 4" tall in the back of my desk for hiding wires and the Amazon knob was nearly touching the bottom of that space. The Ergotron maybe had an inch of room before the bottom. Both are effective and do the job well, just the Amazon version is a little taller. One thing that I wasn't able to compare was the tension strength in the arm itself. My Ergotron mounts are holding some heavy machinery. I'm using one Ergotron LX to mount one of the Apple Thunderbolt displays and the other is holding an LG 34" Ultrawide display. That Thunderbolt is heavy. The Amazon mount is holding an Asus monitor ASUS PB278Q 27" WQHD 2560x1440 PLS/ IPS DisplayPort HDMI DVI-D VGA Ergonomic Back-lit LED Monitor that isn't near the weight of either of the other two mentioned. It's holding the display perfectly but I don't know how it would fare with the Thunderbolt display. Not saying it won't handle it, but I really don't know. So, the bottom line is this. I can highly recommend this monitor mount. If your primary goal is to get some desk space back and to be able to move your monitor around when you need to, this is an excellent mount. If you want something that's quite a bit prettier and were the original designers to boot, I'd grab the Ergotron LX Desk Mount LCD Arm .

I have zero complaints on "day one" of this monitor arm. Its a little stiff, but it needs to be. Once you maneuver this around a little it will loosen up. I found that the spring tension engine in this arm can be perfectly balanced to accommodate a 15 LBS, 34 inch LG gaming monitor without any sag or drop. Installation was simple and straight forward. I felt like the instructions were "ok"" written that most anyone could follow along and do this themselves. I read the reviews on all the stuff I buy here on Amazon and make my best decisions from what people have written about the products. I realize alot of these monitor arms are basically the same design, only the names are different. This should throw a RED FLAG, fast, to you if you're doing a little research on these things here. I pay attention to the details of the way they are made and I can affirm this monitor arm is very well worth the "UP PRICE" compared to the cheaper units. Is it worth 3x the money? ehh, yea, I say so. I have one of the other "CHEAPER" arms ($40) waiting to be returned on monday. Took the cheap unit out of the box saturday and there was a broken bushing on the inside of the package. Never installed that arm. This "Premium Amazon Brand" was the replacement for what I ordered that was broken when I pulled it out of the box. Completely happy with the Amazon Brand on day ONE. If no issues, this review will not be changed. Any problems with it what so ever, and ill be back to post about it. I will update if ANY issue arise. If no update then its still performing great to my expectation. haha, yes i do those things, people have the right to know about the products they are buying here. Range of motion, 180 degrees at all arm points. Full Tilt up, 90 degrees Full tilt down, 15 degrees range of arm motion horizontal, 13 inches monitor will landscape easily and hold its position. The entire unit moves effortlessly. Wire management is desirable, plastic covers fit tight, comes with wire ties. Comes with monitor THUMB SCREWS which screw in very easy. Hard painted silver finish with no dings or flaky paint spots. Will update if there are any issues. Would defiantly buy this again.

メインモニターの上に配置するためにロングポールではなく壁掛け用を購入。 こちらはエルゴトロンのOEM品なので耐久性や品質は折り紙付きです。 残念だったのが首の可動域で、メインモニターの上に配置しているため、やや下向きにしたかったのですが、 こちらの商品はVESAプレートを下向きにできません。真正面から上向きまでの5度から70度が限界です。 液タブにエルゴトロンLXも使用しているのに、なぜ気づかなかったのだろうと一人で嘆いております。 可動域についてはこのページの説明には一切書かれていないので、同じ用途の方は仕様が一緒なエルゴトロンLXのページを一度確認してみることをお勧めします。 ちなみに「エルゴトロン 下向き 改造」で検索すると下向きにしている人の方法がいろいろと出てきます。 それと、こちら壁に取り付けるためにM8x80mmの六角ボルトを使用しますが、ドライバーやラチェットレンチ等の工具は付属していません。 （コンクリート用のアンカーは付いてきます。石膏ボードでは厳しいのではないかと思いますが、使用できるか不明です。） 私は木の柱に電動ドリルで穴を開け、付属のボルトを13mmのレンチで締めました。 LXアームなので当然安定感は抜群で、可動域以外は完璧な商品です。

Incrível suporte. Muito forte. Podia apenas ser um pouco mais elevado para ser perfeito, no entanto é possível através dos pontos de rotação efetuar uma subida manual com ferramenta adequada. Super fácil de trabalhar e ergonómico. Montagem super facilitada, principalmente para monitores de maiores dimensões. Aguenta bem o meu monitor de 38".

Initially tried the Dell MSA20 with the AW3423DW however the tilt on that arm couldn't support the weight of the AW3423DW and it kept eventually tilting down and there was no tension adjustment for the tilt only the height. The Amazon basics arm has tension adjustments for both height and tilt so I was able adjust both and get it to support the weight of the AW3423DW with no wobble while using it.

Tengo una Wacom Cintiq 22HD que ocupaba mucho espacio en el escritorio, así que estuve buscando soluciones y encontré la de este tipo. en el mercado hay muchas opciones pero a precios que obviamente son altísimos, pero este me llamó la atención dado a que Amazon Basics no me ha fallado en sus productos, así que le di una oportunidad... Y oh gran sorpresa: Es mejor de lo que esperaba. La instalación fue demasiado fácil, soporta perfectamente el peso, era exactamente lo que necesitaba porque ahora tengo espacio hasta de sobra. La calidad es excelente, la forma en que se mueve es totalmente libre y no tengo más palabras mas que agradecer a Amazon por ofrecer productos de altísima calidad a precios accesibles.
