One of the simplest things to put together BUT
I didn't want to do the work. And these folks have. I absolutely LOVE IT! Pros: It works like a charm keeping routers, laptops, YOU cool Examples: Wifi link in the garage gets super hot in the summer time. But this did the trick so my speeds are back up and connections are not dropping like they used to! I also use it on a verizon 5G wifi cell modem. It's like it was made for it. I also use it under my high performance laptop to keep it cool and this does it so so so well. No laptop fans buzzing all the time. Instead with two of these fans running in my office I barely notice them. The noise at best is white noise, but when you're working or on a call I would challenge you to hear them going. Cons: I am not a fan of the button control. I know why it was done this way, but I'm not a fan of it. When the power goes off, this won't turn back on. So that is a major bummer. I get away with it using UPS units, but a rocker switch would have made more sense. Instead of three speeds there's at least two and when the power blinks it comes back on when the power comes back on. Honestly I could change it myself but I'm so lazy lol These folks have done a fantastic job with this and frankly I'm sucker for folks willing to put in a little time to innovate something that patches a major hole in router and modem cooling. Thanks for making these, love it!

Works with a little attention.
One thing to take note of. When ordered the description calls out 5v usb power. When I got this the included user manual calls for a 12v 2amp power supply. Most 12v power supplies are wall chargers that use a barrel plug that needs to be removed. The fan side usb connection will need to be removed as well Another option is a usp swap for the barrel plug. Don't know why this change happened. There's no mention of the 12v 2A power requirement untill you get the user manual. Update, ordered a fan from a different company. It included a 5v usb supply with included fan speed control. So much better than this fan. Update, decided to try a normal 5v charger with this fan and it's working well. Still don't know why the manual called for a 12v power supply. I have it running to cool my modem. Will update if anything goes wrong. For now it's working well and perty quiet on the medium setting. Last update. It's been some time now and things are good. The wall chargers is still cool to the touch and the fans are still running. The modem is much cooler than without the fans. Normally warm but pertty cool now. Good quality great price, I can definitely recommend it after you get past the power supply misunderstanding.

Great product
This cooling fan is quiet and keeps my computer from overheating. Good product.

An excellent and reasonably priced USB powered fan.
This is the most powerful usb powered fan I could find for my project to keep cool my Dell Small Factor computer. Anything more powerful required an electric plug connection which I didn’t want. It’s relatively quiet and flexible with configuration to either pull or push air. The fan turns on when I power up the computer and turns off when I power down. It has helped with the other interior case fan to keep my graphics card temperature in the 50’s while playing demanding games.

works very well but is noisy even at lower speeds
Works well and looks like it is built well but the fans are noisy. Thankfully my WD Black 8tb external is only on when I backup files. I would not use it for always on drives as it is noisy. But it does work, in the lowest speed it drops temp from 55-60 C to 35-40 C.

Keeps equipment cool
I have my cable modem and wifi7 router sitting on top of the fans. It has worked great so far keeping the equipment cool, fan setting is at 2-3 and is very quiet.

Great for my 5G Modem
I use this to cool my T-Mobile 5G Modem. It used to overheat and just shut down, now it runs perfectly. It's quiet, easy to clean, and very helpful

More complicated/underdeveloped than advertised (2 fan version)
I'll start with the bad, because no matter what when this fan goes I won't be buying this as a replacement, even if it lasts me for years. Unless it starts going for about $10 because that's the max I'd pay for another one. The "removable" feet. Poorly made. The whole foot setup is just a jerry-rigged setup of a long screw, a hollow piece of rubber, a nut, and a circle of adhesive foam. It's a really long screw that goes through a hollow rubber foot. The way it screws in is with a small nut. That nut is only held in place by a basic adhesive that also holds the foam pad to the bottom of the rubber foot. If that nut detaches from the foam (and it will) then it's basically impossible to put the foot back on properly because nothing will hold the nut in place to stop it from spinning when turning the screw. Once the foot is detached you realize that the screw setup was also being used to hold together the plastic guard/framework holding the whole thing together. So now you have four loose/floppy corners, but it's still held together, mostly, because there are four screws inbetween the 2 fans that ultimately keep the plastic anchored. And you can't just reuse the screws with the nut to tighten the corners down because the screws stick out as far as the feet did (because of how they originally had to screw into the nut, reaching to the far end of the feet) so even just using the nut to secure the screw and clamp down the plastic, the fans will still be elevated on the ends of the screws which defeats the purpose of even taking the feet off in the first place. --------------------------- As for the good... so far it's otherwise about what you'd expect for this price. The fans work. The noise is there but not egregious. If you have anything else making noise or you use headphones a lot you won't notice the sound. As for how long this will last... I only just got it today and tested it, but given the "craftmanship" of the rest of the product I have my doubts as to how durable the fans will be in the long run. I bought this for a dual purpose. My parents like to keep the house warmer than I'd like, in general, and my bedroom being on the 2nd floor and having a gaming PC and 2 TVs and me preferring to have my door shut my room can get quite warm in the summer. So on days when they feel it's cool enough to have the windows open I wanted something I could put in the window to help circulate air in/out faster, and on days when they'll turn the air on I could put it over the floor vent for when the house fans weren't currently running between cooling cycles to keep pulling up cooler air from the basement. Ultimately... once it's set up it seems to work for it's intended purpose, and that's the only reason I'm going neutral on the overall rating with a 3/5. But I probably could've just rigged something up myself with old PC fans for much less but I was hoping I'd be getting a more solid setup by buying this.

Very nice cooling fan it has 3 speed low, mid & high + ON/OFF button as described. The cooling fan is working and high quality product. I will buy it again. I recommend to buy this item.

I'm updating my review to 5 stars because this fan works great, just not under my modem. After I had installed it under the modem, I noticed that my PVR box was also running hot, so I moved the fan and put it ON TOP of the PVR box. (I noticed that the PVR box only had ventilation holes on the top.) Beauty! This fan is SILENT when used in this application. Works like a dream. I only need to run it on the first setting to keep the box lovely and cool. ***** If this was under a modem in my basement I might not mind the hum. But it's in the corner of the master bedroom, and even my deaf husband can hear it running on low. I was initially very impressed that it came with speed control, but it's not silent on the slowest speed, so I'm not very happy with it.

This small compact fan works wonderfully behind my television. The receiver now stays cool and the best part is that you can’t hear the fan. Perfect purchase.

It's not as quiet as I had hoped since I can hear it at night. I have one on my modem and the other on my cable box. They work really well. They really dissipate the heat and I've since had no issues with either shutting down. I like that it has low, medium, high and off on the switch so I have the choice depending on the device. I do recommend this fan and gave it 4 stars cause the noise.
