Plenty of examples. Very happy with this book. Even much better than expected.

It may not have the most in-depth explanations for each texture, but it has a lot of cool textures, from dog hair to marbles to strawberries, and shows you the general way each one is drawn. Very valuable art book to have, I’m very happy I bought it, now I am aware of so many textures to learn and have the guidelines shown here to point me in the right direction. I wouldn’t recommend it for beginners however, as some textures may be overwhelming and make them think “why can’t I do this as easily as shown, I must be a bad artist” when the fact is that a lot of the textures shown are very difficult to draw, with a lot of experience needed to understand how to get from step to step.

All beginner should to make this training :-) Good book. I started painting 3 years ago and with my experience I can find in this book usefully information for myself

This book was full of promise but it didn’t deliver. There’s no in-depth teaching on anything. It hardly touches on topics it says it covers. It will not help you to master any area of art. It’s wishy washy and I don’t think I will get my money’s worth out of it

A great help to a novice like me

This copy combines colour and graphite pencils , where as the other books that are individual are good but you are better getting this one
