This is now my second purchase from Ruby Lites, since the first one was quite good! This model is a great little light for road bikes since it gives to different beam modes of flash and a continuous light so as to not be overly focused and to blind others. The box arrived with a rear light that is also rechargeable it takes a couple hours to fully charge the main unit and lasts around 4 hours on full power and about 7 on low.I assumed from the last product that the brightness of the model would be amazing and it is. With the last ruby Lite, that I purchased the brightness was something that I immediately noticed and this appears to a be a signature feature of what appears to offered by within the Ruby Lite’s range. Furthermore, the range of light modes seem to be quite good, with more than the basic on/off and strobe!One thing I like about the new model is the apparent build quality, the body of the head light is made from a light metal so durability and overall quality on this one seems quite good, although it is quite early on in for me fully say yet, since I’ve only had it for about a month.The USB charging port is well sealed by the protective rubber flap, so unless you dropped the light in an actual puddle I don’t think it likely that water will get in. So far seems fine in light rain.I decided on giving this product 5 stars in the end since compared to others, like those made by Balhvit & Degbit the quality and sturdiness of this one beats theirs, as their best products are still made from a cheap plastic. Again, I’d say this is well worth the price-point and I hope they’ll diversify their range into other biking accessories!

The media could not be loaded. Reasonable build quality. However the cast metal body seems to be a lot cheaper build quality than that shown on the listing. The rubber port seals could be more secure fitting to stop water and debris getting in the charging ports. However overall for the price point of £13 for a set of rechargeable bike lights I'm pleased with them and the orange side light feature (only on 2 of the 5 modes) is a nice bonus feature I feel like with a little bit of attention to detail in the design and manufacturing process would make these lights superior to rivals at the price range However, I'd certainly recommend these and I'll be purchasing another set for my sons bike when we get back into the winter months for his commute to school

This is long overdue but it has to be said! The product arrived as was stated, and the boxing was perfect. Actual packaging box was very well made and secured the two lights neatly in the box along with two USB charging cord. I was very impressed with the quality right out the box. Very high quality materials and the lighting exceeded my expectations. The amber-side lighting is really cool as you scroll through the headlight settings, the tail-light also had excellent choices, the visibility of both these lights are superior to the ones I’ve had before. I would buy these for any mountain bikes in the future and easily recommend it to anyone whether pro-rider or just a commuter. Charging is simple I just tossed it on my power bank charger for few hour and it’s ready to go. The top button on the headlight shows green when you have power and red when it’s time to charge. Both lights have active red charging lights to let you know that they are being charged. I love this bicycle lights set and I will recommend it to my cycling friends.

Only thing these having going for them is there bright. Expect from that there absolute rubbish I bought two sets one for me and one for my mum' as she is always going to Asda at night on her bike with no lights so I thought I'll buy these big mistake the set I gave my mum broke the first time using them and my set aren't any better TRUST ME DON'T WAIST YOUR MONEY BUY CHEAP BUY TWICE

Can't speak for durability - so far so good. They are good looking lights but you would never guess they were a pair. Rear one is on/off with a long press and the settings are low, medium, bright and flash. Turning on brings light back into mode is was when turned off. Pretty sensible. The flash on the rear light doesn't seem so smart - it's about 50/50 on/off whereas I think it is better to have a brief on period and longer off - since this preserves the battery life and doesn't (IMHO) compromise visibility. Also it would be nice to have a low continuous-on mode combined with bright flash. The front light is different - no long press - just off, bright, medium, low, flash#1 and flash#2 (so basically the opposite way round to the rear lamp). Again, the on/off ratio doesn't seem particularly smart - I would prefer a briefer on-flash for longer battery life. The flashing seems a bit too fast on the front lamp - significantly faster than the rear lamp - which in contrast seems a bit too pedestrian.

These lights are ridiculous bright, I use them during the day time and they are still visible to nearby cars. They hold a charge for many hours. I use them in flash mode, as opposed to being continually on, which uses less battery. With the included stretchable straps they are easy to affix to handlebars or bicycle tubing. For small lights believe me these are plenty bright. Both sets are aluminium alloy, you can’t get any aluminium alloy bike lights premium quality at this price anywhere! This is an absolute steal, absolutely great value for money and I am buying another set for winter! Highly recommend/amazing lights.
