I picked this one at the time for the cost. Needed something to use for measuring wire and other materials. Its mean to be screwed down. But its simple enough to reset the counter and run it along any surface or segment to be measured then do the math to get the exact value needed. Other than I would enjoy the mechanism to be smaller and to there to be smaller wheels to get different measurement values. I am happy with the purchase.
