Best most complete socket set you can get especially for the price. They are super good quality. Made in Taiwan.

Tekton is an entry level brand that doesn't offer the services of a tool truck or some of the detail that a professional mechanic may need. Their tool lineup is not fairly compared to SnapOn, MAC or Matco that have built a relationship with their customers, are often innovators in the industry and hopefully most of their tools are made in the USA. That being said, Tekton has done a really good job of putting out some entry level professional tools and their sockets and ratchets are a highlight of their lineup for their quality and value. Tekton is a US company but most of their tools are made in Taiwan (20% are US made), so no guilt about buying from their neighbor. There are no skips in this set. The chrome is well done for this price point. The ratchet is very good quality. Even the case is useful without a lot of wasted space. I looked at several other entry level brands and they aren't too bad either, but if you are just looking for a basic socket set, the 55 piece 1/4" and 47 piece 3/8" sets are winners (same size case as well). You could spend quite a bit less and get a set that will get you thru some occasional tasks or spend a fortune on a set that may be far above your needs. Tekton offers a Goldilocks set that is just right.

This socket set is just as good as sets that cost twice as much. I've had them for a while and they still work and look like they were brand new. The included breaker bar helps break loose stubborn bolts, and it comes with a wide variety of sizes to fit all jobs.

For a 3/8 socket set this is a great option. I love the fact that there's no skips in sizes. They perform great for the price point. The fit and finish is good, for what you are paying they look great, if that means anything to you. They are easy to read and come nicely organized, if you plan on leaving them in the case they come in. Overall they are awesome sockets at a good price.

Quality. Very precise and sturdy. Unless you lose it, it appears to be a lifetime deal.
