Kinky Curly Original Hair Care "Pack Of 2" (COME-CLEAN-SHAMPOO)

I have weird hair. It's multiple textures, it does what it wants, and I live in an area with extremely hard water that weighs down any hope of waves or curls. Enter this fantastic shampoo. It is VERY drying, and I've noticed a bit more hairfall (but I have hair to spare, so I'm okay with that.) However, it does get all the garbage out of my hair and it feels lighter and seems more inclined to embrace curling / waving than before.Pair this stuff with a good scalp scrubber and your hair will be the cleanest it's ever been, especially if you use gels or heavy product.It strips the heck out of hair colour though, so if you're one of the folks who is of the rainbow-haired persuasion, keep in mind that this stuff will eat your hair colour. I'm usually a bottle blue, and this has definitely done a number on that. I use it about three times a week, and pair it with a protein free conditioner. So far, so good.

This is the only clarifying shampoo that actually works for me. It also doesn’t seem to dry out my type 2, fine, wavy hair, so I use it once a week.

Great clarifying shampoo. Cleans my hair really well without drying it out. Bought it as it was recommended to take eeg glue out of your hair after a little spray of micellar water. It worked like a charm and I liked it so much, I've kept buying it.

Great shampoo for stripping built up hair products.

I have low porosity hair and for years I had trouble with my scalp. It is very prone to buildup causing it to be very itchy even just a day or two after washing my hair. I had been using another brand for over a year and during that time my hair got noticeably thin due to excessive shedding. The previous shampoo I had been using also was heavy in oils and I think that was causing the issue due to my skin being easily clogged and sensitive to oils. After using this shampoo my hair has stopped shedding and I no longer have an itchy scalp. I also love how easy it is to apply this shampoo it lathers and spreads perfectly. Please never change the formula to this shampoo and thank you so much! I definitely will be buying this shampoo from now on.

I have been using this product for like two years now and I cannot recommend a product more. I have wavy, pretty damaged, bleached and colored hair that used to get oily very easily. I was searching for a product that’d clean my scalp properly from all the oil and product buildup while hydrating it and keeping it from being itchy. Not only did Kinky Curly do both but it also smells amazing and lasts me a lifetime. Lathers so great. My scalp feels refreshed and my hair lasts almost a week without being itchy or oily. I’ve recommended this product to my friend, mom and grandma. My friend has a thick curly hair bleached and damaged she loves it! My grandma has been coloring, bleaching and having perms for years now and always complained about oily hair without life and volume. She’s been using it for half a year now and she begged me to buy her more bottles because she’s afraid it won’t be available xd let’s just say she loves it. My mom has virgin hair and problems with oily scalp. I persuaded her to try this shampoo. She’s used it only two times but she already sees a difference and her hair feels refreshed and doesn’t get oily as fast.Don’t hesitate, go buy it ASAP!!

I have tried another K.C. product, their gel that I did not like, so this one I was skeptical. I tried it only because a professional stylist had listed this one on their website as a good product to remove hair product buildup and such. So far, I like it. Gets my hair squeaky clean.

I oil my hair and scalp once a week before washing and even though I’d usually shampoo twice, I felt like I needed to use a real clarifying shampoo. I use either a blowout gel or a curl gel and curl cream 1-2x a week after washing and sometimes in between washes use plain hair gel for slicked buns. These products combined with the oiling often leave my thick, curly, low porosity hair weighed down and left me feeling like I had product buildup on my scalp. After oiling my scalp and hair yesterday and letting it sit for an hour, I vigorously lathered this shampoo up and scrubbed my scalp, employing my silicone scalp scrubber. I rinsed and followed it with my normal hydrating/strengthening shampoo and conditioned my ends as normal. Though my hair was a bit frizzy as it always is post-wash, it felt so clean, light, and soft. Not dry at all. My curls looked so coily and light, not weighed down. My scalp feels cleaner than it had been feeling from just a double shampoo with my regular brand. This is now a staple in my scalp care routine. I’m anticipating that my scalp and hair will be able to go longer without feeling/looking as greasy in between washes since I feel Kinky Curly is actually fully cleansing it.
