The visor arrived on time and well packed! It is amazingly light but quite strong. It was very easy to install...so easy that there are no instructions! Mark, drill and mount...just that easy! With the weather strip provided, it seals very well to my stucco exterior. It adds to the overall curb appeal of the house and the appearance of the security system. With the black underside, I had no problem viewing anything during overnight hours. This is a well thought-out product at a very affordable price. I would recommend it to anyone wanting to protect their investment!

This work great for my camera. Had camera on the side of the house that got a lot of water or sun. Because of this I had to replace three of them. After installing this cover I no longer have problems with weather damaging my camera. Had this for about two years now.

It's been some time since I purchased these, but as I was reminded I could review them on Amazon, I looked out my window and saw one of the ones I installed and thought: Dang! They have been through some harsh weather and are going strong! They were easy to install, a great value, and are holding up strong! Such a great buy.

These shades are great with one caveat...if your cameras use infrared lights, the night time videos will appear as if it's foggy out. The solution? I spray painted the front lip black and what a difference it made. The white lip reflected a lot of the infrared light back to the camera whereas when painted black, it did not reflect. Hard to imagine that color made that much of a difference. You could just get the black shades and be done with it...but black is too conspicuous with the color of my sidings. The plastic appears to be pretty durable and shouldn't break or crack unless you're purposely trying. Time will tell how it will hold up to the sun. Maybe a coat or two of clear coat after painting the lip black might help reduce sun damage...but after about a year, I haven't noticed any wear. The shades came with a template that made it an easy to install. Use a bit of painters tape, move it around as many times as you need. When you're sure about the spot...drill pilot holes right thru the template where the screw holes are indicated. Remove the template, and screw in. I did find that the screws to secure the shades were a tad too short the type of sidings I have. Luckily, I had some similar screws that were about 1/2 longer lying around. It would be better if the shades came with two different length screws since not everyone has perfectly flat sidings. It has kept snow off my cameras and the gasket on the shade has prevented any rain from seeping thru between the shades and sidings...I have yet had clean the lenses. I thought that the snow would build up but that didn't seem to be the case. I have yet had the need to brush any snow off of it. The shade have done a great job of protecting my cameras....they appear as new as the day I unboxed them. These shades do pose 1 downfall..it seems to attract hornets and yellow jackets. Not a big deal if you keep an eye out for them and eradicate the hive before it has a chance to grow.

Installed on some of my exposed cctv cameras to shield them from the environment, so far they have done a great job keeping rain/snow away from obstructing their field of view...

Love this product to help extend the life of our ring camera.

I Purchased this product to install above my outdoor Kasa Cameras. Despite it being above the camera with the front edge even with the front edge of the camera itself… This created serious blow back on the camera so that the image was cloudy. I still gave it five stars though, because it’s a very well-made product. It’s just that my cameras evidently have something that negates the use of a hood.

This item is 10 times bigger than it appears in the photo. Way too big for my ring camera

Viene con lo necesario para su instalacion y hacer sello en todo tipo de muros, el interior es negro y eso ayuda mucho a no hacer reflejo de luz a la camara.

Se ve muy bien y es fácil de instalar. Incluye guía para perforaciones. El material es resistente. El único inconveniente es que solo viene en este tamaño y solo sirve para cámaras pequeñas
