The Pavarotti & Friends Collection: The Complete Concerts, 1992-2000

This is absolutely the best concert collection of all time. I love Pavarotti. What a great idea, what a great cause, to help the most important ones of all...the children of the world. To hear some of the artists sing opera, wow, what a wonderful job they all did. Zucchero, the Italian artist was very good. These dvd's are sooooo much fun to watch. To hear some of my favorite artists perform opera, well, what can I say.... Aqua, Funiculi, Funicula(fun little number that one was),I love the children in this one, soooo cute. Viva Forever, Spice girls,( this was a very kicky number, and Pavarotti looked like he was having a blast doing it with them). Vanessa Williams, Ricky Martin, Meatloaf..wow, they were very good as well. What a beautiful number Stevie Wonder wrote, and performed with Pavarotti, beautifully done. Now, let's get to Sting, what a beautiful job he did, singing along with Pavarotti, Panis Angelicus. This was the one Pavarotti did with his Father...so georgous, I cried. Bryan Adams, omg was he amazing singing 'O Solo Mio, who would ever think? I cried with this one as well. The song Jon Bon Jovi wrote for this occasion, Let It Rain, WOW! I love this song. Again, I cried. Thanks to Text to Speech, I can now sing Pavarotti's part in Italian, and love it, I am really good at it, I might add, but cannot get through it without crying. It is such a wonderful song. I am going to get back on to learn other songs, what fun it is to sing along with Pavarotti. Let's not forget the children, they were all fantastic, and looked like they were having a great time.....loved by all.'Let's not forget all the songs Pavarotti performed, whoever he sang them with. He is soooo amazing, what a voice........we miss you Pavarotti...God bless you. I have several Pavarotti cd's, and dvd's, but this one is my very favorite one of all. It was sooo much fun seeing these performers singing along with my very favorite Tenor, Luciano Pavarotti. Dvd's are in top notch condition. I only wish there were more of them. Want to hear your favorite singers performing opera, singing along with the best, Pavarotti? Then, this is a must for your collection. I absolutely loved it. I would give this one a thousand stars if I could....and I do.

I have all of PAVAROTTI & FRIENDS Cds. I love everyone of them. Over the years I have played a million times. I just noticed that the DVD collection was available so I bought. Wow I am really impressed with everyone's talent, but more importantly you can see how much everyone enjoyed working together to help a cause. All I can say is Wow !!! Every concert was truly great....Who could give it less that 5 stars I don't know, in fact I wish I could give it 10 stars. The shipping was fast, I received w/in one week. Oh and the person that rated it one star said "THE TITLE SHOULD BE FRIEND'S OF PAVAROTTI BECAUSE HE'S ONLY IN ONE OF THE SELECTIONS!"...didn't he watch the DVDs? Shame on you...PAVAROTTI sang/participated in almost all of the songs.....and boy he looked and sang great !

DVD's arrived in good shape. Supplier had the best price for this item and delivered it in a timely manner. I have long been a fan of Pavarotti and have the Pavarotti Duets DVD so this collection was a logical addition. I was a little disappointed that there were't more duets in this collection but the solos were good, too. I had a gift card for $50 or I might not have purchased this item due to the cost.

A great collection of concerts 4 discs with over 12 hrs of concerts each disk is 2 shows on it

This is a timeless DVD and well worth to have in your collection. Although some of the songs may seem a bit unfamiliar, and there is a changing of aspect ratios and sound quality as the years progress, this is some real quality vocal work by both Pavarotti and some of the greatest singers in time. I strongly suggest you make these DVD's part of your permanent collection. You and your friends will have countless hours enjoying these once in a lifetime performances.

I already have The Duets DVD so I thought this would give me more of what I liked. There are many beautiful performances on this set of DVDs. This is quite an extensive collection of opera and popular selections. My knowledge of Italian is limited so I was not as taken with many songs since I didn't understand the words. My Italian friend (grew up in Tuscany) absolutely loved it. Given the cost, I would choose The Duets over this product. But it's still mighty good!

We have seen some of these concerts live on TV in Italy.... and were fascinated!The CD's are a wonderful mixture of modern music and classical music.All the stars came and sang for free, since each concert is benefitiual. They had so much fun on the stage, and you can see and feel that , while watching.Absolutely worth the investment!!!!!

The film seems to have been cut & pasted together poorly.It appears that it jumps around between all of his performances instead of 1 concert at a time.I have seen some of his other CD's and they were so good that I actually worn one out......

Nice compilation of music from Pavarotti and various other famous singers. Film quality is to be ask expected considering how long ago it was recorded. Good sound. We used to have these on VHS a few years ago, nice to update our collection. Seller was excellent. Very quick delivery and package was in great condition.

Mehrere Abende mit wundervoller Musik. Pavarotti ist super und dann diese Stimme. Viele klasse Musiker mit tollen Einlagen. Die DVD's sind gelungen, kann ich nur empfehlen.
