My dogs love them. It helps to calm their anxiety down. I only give them to one, occasionally two, of my four dogs. I definitely notice a difference in their behavior.

We've been buying this for years. It's gone from being 6 inches long to 4 to now 3. My girl still loves them, but the size shrinking makes her sad. I worry that she had a harder time gripping the chews.

My German shepherd is afraid of thunderstorms to the point he shakes. I’ve tried several calming chews but these work the best. If I’m able to give him 1 an hr or so before the storm he’s much better.

Dog didn't mind the taste at all, but they didn't help calm her when I was needing to try to do a subcutaneous fluid run. will try again during a thunderstorm to see if I should just give up on these as 'calming' or just use them as a regular treat until the bag is gone.

My dog likes them and he doesn't usually like anything other than his dog food and regular dog treats. I can't say for certain that he is calmer after the treats since he gets them before bedtime. Best recommendation I can give is the Buddy likes them.

Great for dogs with storm anxiety.

My dog is a 25 pound Sheltie. He has been given these chews almost every night for about a year. Last night this all has changed.We had a serious close call last night. We give our boy a zesty paws treat every night before bed to help with dental cleaning. It also has a calming affect. Been doing it for a year, no problems. But last night he started choking on it and he wasn't breathing. He was thrashing around and I thought we were losing him. I tried reaching into his throat to see if I could remove it. Couldn't. Frantically I tried doing what could only be considered the Heimlich maneuver. Somehow eventually he dislodged it but it got stuck sideways between his teeth, but at least he was able to now breathe. My daughter the vet tech arrived and we all held him so she could reach in and pull it out. You could tell he was so relieved.... And so were we. Be careful of these hard chewable treats. Never had a problem before but now I'm scared to death to give him anymore unless I cut it into a much smaller piece. Anyways, Mika is still here and fine this morning ♥️. I doubt that I will ever give these to him again.** So, since this unfortunate incident I've been breaking the treats into 1/4 pieces. Now give them this size to both of our Shelties. They do love the treats and they definitely help them stay relaxed and help the sleep. So glad that it did work out... Just be vigilant !
