It works!
This thing talked to my second hand TV like, right off the bat, no programming needed; which was great because it's an older model Sharp Aquos that I thought "Oh, I'll never find a good remote, it'll have to be one of those terrible universals' but this one worked like, the very first time. My only gripe about it is that it really does seem to have a lot of buttons that don't seem to apply to my TV (or maybe I didn't read the instructions all the way?) But all the important functions work like a charm!
