Poor choice for professionals.
I work as a sommelier opening over a hundred bottles a day, this key was a replacement for my Code 38 while it was being repaired in Australia.Le Thiers wine key was very bulky, blade did not aide in opening bottles fast, and lever mechanism was very bulky and required two hands to set up. Also works poorly with longer corks, like Y or Caymus SS, the cork gets blocked by the lever as you extract it resulting in either a damaged cork or you having to pull by the whole handle of the key.Holster worked very well with the key and was comfortable, however the design of the key was very edgy and it was hard to take it out fast. After around ten days of use the key's tension mechanism started to give up, leaving blade and helix not being stable, the blade would bend as I was applying pressure to the bottle and helix would not be straight. Crown cap opener was unnecessarily sharp, and would require very large degree angle to open the bottle.Price is better than market price for the key, but for this price I would expect much higher quality of craftsmanship and design. As a decorative key it looks great, unique and interesting, but as a professional tool it lacks in almost every way possible, I would not recommend using this wine key, there are other better options available. Very disappointed.

Five Stars
Love my wine key. I’ve had mine for years working as a Somme and love it.

Beautiful, but useless as a serious wine accessory
Beautiful, but useless as a serious wine accessory. Dull foul cutter. Single stage corkscrew is antiquated. Either fails to extract or ruins delicate corks. Way overpriced. Disappointing.
