Hario Glass Decanter with Handle, 400ml

I bought this as a gift for my husband who is very much into the art of coffee. I think he would highly recommend this decanter to those who love single-serving pourovers. It's durable and quality.

This is a cute little high-quality pitcher that holds about 300 mL at its narrowest point.there are four more words required.

I love to make a latte now and then, and I make it the inexpensive way by using a hand held frother. Milk froths better at a slightly warm temperature, so I use this pitcher to put my milk in the microwave for about 30 seconds and then froth it to a delicious foam. That is how I use it, but it could also be used for pourover coffee if you normally drink about 12 oz. of coffee at a time. Beautiful clear glass with no plastic or metal, just healthy glass that will be happy to hold whatever you choose to put into it.

Like a previous reviewer stated, the glass is quite thin, but obviously not defective; it's a beautiful product. When I knocked mine over in the sink, a large section of the top section broke off. It was still useable for a long while, until I finally broke it for good after owning the thing for approximately 2 years. Both breaks involved lots of tiny shards of sharp glass. Not particularly safe. Still recommended, but be careful and sweep thoroughly!

Much smaller than it looked not useful for my project returned with no problem though.

I use this for any pour over coffee I make. My only complain would be, I wish the rim was wider.

Extremely small!!

My favorite way to enjoy a solo cup of coffee or just enough with a friend. Keeps the coffee hot. I love seeing the coffee and having m own pot. Thanks to my son for showing me how to use this.

良いですね。燗酒を造るのに購入しました。お燗用の徳利は中が見えないので、清潔を心掛けても、カビていたらどうしよう？と心配になります。ガラスは良いです。

コーヒーを淹れるのにいれた水の量がよく分かる器が欲しかったのですが、ピッタリでした。入れた水がよく見えるのでこぼす心配もなく安心してコーヒーを淹れることができます。また、最近、ドリップパックのコーヒーもこれを使って淹れると上手いコーヒーが出来ることも発見しました。ドリップの紙が淹れ終ったコーヒーに浸からないのですっきりとした味わいのコーヒーが出来上がります。一度試して見るとよいですよ。

レンジで熱燗用に購入しました。陶器の徳利レンジ熱燗に比べてやはりガラス製だと短い時間で済むし、これは持ち手が付いているので熱くなった容器を素手で扱え便利ですね。ビーカー、もしくはそれより薄い程度の厚さの耐熱ガラスで、やや華奢なイメージですが、まぁこの値段なので。口は半端に広いので、食器洗い機には良いですが、手洗いの場合は指が細長い人なら普通のスポンジでどうにか洗えるかもという感じ。太い人は棒スポンジ。
