Solid fan @ 24” diameter
Like the fan; 4 operating positions: off, tropical storm, mid-hurricane, and full-on-hurricane. A longer power cord would be an improvement. Works well.

High Quality Fan Worth the Price!
Pretty powerful fan. Much better than the cheaper plastic blade fan that is silent, but hardly blows any air. I wasted money on a bunch of these cheap ones that break and when some dust gets in them, they blow no air. These are powerful with aluminum or steel blades and worth the added money, decently loud for their size (expected and not louder than I thought). You just need to make sure you have tools like an Allen wrench and socket set (preferably a socket drill bit and drill to make things easier). It took me about 2 hours to get it put together and mounted from beginning to end. The instructions are not the best and I have a few items extra that do not appear that they belong with the packaging. I like the vertical angle bracket supporting the fan to distribute the weight on the wall. I screwed a 5/8" to 3/4" piece of plywood to a stud and then screwed the lag bolts in to that. 3/4" would be recommended on a normal steel stud wall so the lag bolt can bite in to it. These are very solidly built, but not super heavy. I recommend these fans especially since it states the CFM which means it is a high quality fans. No remote control, but there is a chain to turn on and off.

Big fans!
UPDATE JUN 2020: seller made it right when I contacted them regarding the problems w my fans even tho they were out of warranty. It was much appreciated and is but from them again in the future... it's rare to find someone that will stand behind their product beyond the warranty period. These worked great for one summer. During winter, I unplugged and covered them. Upon unwrapping and trying to use them this spring, one would not reset and the other worked for about a month. Now it won't reset either. I've got $500 worth of broken fans hanging on my pergola

Good fan, could be a bit better
First, the cord is not "broken". There is a small clasp in the parts bag that connects the included cord to the short part that comes out of the motor housing. So you can choose if you want the cord or not, which is nice. This leads to the second part, that being, get a 2.5 amp Variable electric motor control and tie it in to the outlet being used for the fan. They're only about $15-$20 This fan is fairly loud at full power, but at low power, it is fairly quiet and still blows quite a bit of air. The other issue, and it is somewhat major, is that at medium-high power, if the fan is oscillating, it goes thru periods of vibration where it reverberates along the stud its mounted on and rattles the fan cage quite a bit. I've actually removed the protective cage from mine it was so noticeable and loud(the fan is mounted 13' up, so safety isn't an issue. Overall this is a good fan for a garage or shop, not so loud as to make conversation difficult or drown out the TV or radio, but certain design elements could be improved. I would have a larger issue with it if i needed the fan cage to stay mounted to it, but as its so high it works well.

Find another option
So so loud and barely moves any air.

What we needed
Just what we needed for our 600 sqft deck in South Texas. While the fan power, options, durability, and convenience are great, I think that there are a few things that could be improved:The oscillation arc is static at 90 degrees. This could easily be changed to allow a range between 60-120 degrees. I would love this option and will probably retrofit my fan to allow this ability. The GFCI plug is extremely annoying, especially when you consider that I plug the fan into a GFCI outlet. The GFCI plug trips EVERY time the power is removed from the fan (power outage, unplugged for a cell phone, unplugged for an air pump) - I think you see the issue. What would make this better would be a GFCI adapter that could be used for an installation (the default recommendation) or removed by the end user (for applications that do not warrant the need for a GFCI plug).Quit assuming that the end user is an idiot and provide some latitude for those of us that are not inherently stupid. I apologize for the harsh words but I’m very tired of the litigious society we live in and the accommodations we make for those persons unable to make wise decisions with their safety.

Doesn’t blow much air
This fan doesn’t blow more than about 15 feet in front of itself. And it’s not very strong. Kind of disappointed to be honest. It should not be considered a shop fan.
