Beautifully illustrated, a glimpse of Chinese most loved traditions.

The story is good but as an Asian American I can't help to feel offended by the illustrations. Why would the Asian artist depict the characters as having slanty, almost closed, eyes to fit the typical stereotype? It is not something to teach your young children.
