DJI Mavic 2 & Smart Controller Case

Fit my mavic 2 batteries and a large 3 battery charger. Bit bulky but seems sturdy.

This case is good when going somewhere in a hurry or for a brief outing. There is no laser-cut foam inside. Instead it relies on a cushion molded (kind of velvet-lined plastic mold) to fit the parts seen on the pictures. The cushion is less dense than your traditional foam BUT it will hold your equipment securely. An added benefit to this case is the middle "flap" which allows you to separate the mesh bag found on the lid drum the main compartment (where your drone, batteries ecc are located). In addition the "flap" comes with a built-in elastic strap organizer (found on the side of the middle "flap" facing the mesh bag on the lid). The shell is made out of molded (stiff) canvas and is very sturdy and way more than sufficient for everyday use. However, I would definitely consider using a hard case (GPC or MC cases) for air travel. Your Mavic 2 prop guards will fit inside your mesh bag (if applicable). You can also carry a few other items inside (besides and in addition to the props - i.e. drone emergency rescue parachute such as the Vectorsave 10 for Mavic 2, and a few nav strobe lights) Overall the case does a very good job holding everything organized, and it suits my needs.

The build quality on this case is really good. I like the overall design, and it feels like it would hold up to some tussling around. However, I have an Air2S and an RC Controller, and it holds neither securely. The case is made for the RC-N1 controller (without screen), and the strap to secure it doesn't even fit around the RC Controller (with screen), so it just floats around. Same thing with the drone, the case is made to accommodate a larger drone than the 2S, so although the strap goes around it, it still 'floats' in the case in the drone cutout spot. If you have the original controller RC-N1 and a larger drone than the 2S, this would be a superb case.

So frustrated I waited so long to get this... I had ordered the new Mavic 2 Pro with the smart controller plus fly more bundle. DJI includes a small satchel case which fits the drone, batteries, cables, etc. If you’re not familiar, the one DJI ships is a bit peculiar, because you’re ordering a near $2,000 drone with their brand new debut integrated smart controller but the “free” case they ship can’t hold or stow it - making it nerve racking to travel with the drone. This case easily stores it and I’m really pleased with the density and firmness of the outer shell. It includes a shoulder strap that can be easily removed/added and the zippers can use one of your regular luggage locks to secure the case. I like that it has a barrier between the storage compartment and top side netting (which provides additional loose storage) - it’s firm (similar stiffness to cardboard) to help make sure nothing will poke through. In fact, the internal zipper for the mesh even has a resting hide pocket to prevent the zipper from protruding or moving. The zipper is not flimsy or difficult and, so far, has been very consistent with repeated open/close maneuvers. Definitely don’t order this if you do not have the smart controller - there are smaller carry solutions to accommodate you if you only have the drone with the standard controller.

This is the best case I have found. It has a lot of room for drone controller and accessories, its lightweight, well made and its compact. Love the fact that with the pouch I can fit my large 9.7" ipad in it too! It fits both the standard controllers as well as the SMART controller.

This case is really done right. It's the best custom tape case that I have ever had for anyting. All the items fit perfectly in their compartments and are very protected. I'm not a professional photographer so don't carry a lot of extra filters and other photographic items with me. I can fit everything I need in this case and just grab it and go. There are additional compartments that I don't utilize if you have other needs as well. What can I say, I just love it!

Isnt the Point of this drone & smart remote portability? Idk bout you all. But i dont wanna carry a case that looks like a dewalt tool box or a gun case in public. This case is made for me. Fits 4 batt. ( all u need) if h got more use fly more bag. The biggest selling point is its size. Its small but shockingly harder then I thought. No junky styrofoam insert like gpc cases. It will not crush ur remote!!! AND U CAN LEAVE CONTROLS ON! What the pics do not show. Is how deep the inside is. Which was my worry. It is so deep in no way does anything touch ur remote or crush the drone. Its much taller then i thought but super compact. Cant beat price! No regrets. Lastly. U cant tell what is in there! So say u leave GPC 180 case in ur car. Someone either knows oh thats a drone or they say something expensive is in there. Again, I like to be D.L. I like to pull over in car send drone up without a fuss. Now I can do that. All my smart remote brothers out there. We all share the bond of knowing we will never use a phone or iPad again! If i trust this case n I baby this drone u should.

This case has made carrying around my Mavic Pro 2 MUCH easier. It fits perfectly. I'm able to fit the drone, smart controller, small case with filters, charger, and 3 batteries. If you're looking for an inexpensive, well made case that will fit your gear like a glove, I recommend this one and give it 5 stars.

Fits drone and all accessories perfectly.

Was exactly what I needed as i was having to carry the smart controller separately, now it's all in one nice case. The case has room for the 4 batt charger, ac adapter & has an inner flap that you can put spare props into and also a mesh area in the lid that fits the smart controller charger. Case and zipper all feel very durable, nicely done.

I used this with my mavic pro, when snowboarding recently, Fitted perfectly into my rucksac, and even after stacking it a few times on the board, including some forward rolls, the case did not buckle, and the drone was completely safe.. Great product
