This new bed pillow product is excellent. I read through dozens of reviews on AMAZON and selected this reading based on hoped-for quality and the reasonable price. I bought and sent one to a friend who had major back surgery one year ago. She was absolutely thrilled with it. “Thrilled “was the word she used to describe her experience. This pillow provides plenty of firm support from my lower back to my shoulder blades when sitting up straight. It also works well when I stretch out and use it to support my upper back, head, and neck. For an in-between position of slouching, there is no support for my lower back, which I guess is a good thing because it discourages that bad habit. The cover for the pillow is velour and very pleasing to the touch. The zipper that allows you to remove the cover for washing is sturdy and should be durable. I haven’t removed the cover yet, but I’m hopeful it won’t involve a bit of a circus trick to get the pillow back inside. Overall, this pillow is far superior to standard bed pillows when it comes to proper support for reading in bed.

It is doing what I need it to do. I wish the arms were bigger, but I just throw a pillow over the sides for more support. It provides great back support. The company sent extra filling which was a pleasant surprise. I wish I had removed it from the cover and added the extra filling as soon as it arrived. I have an AIR ONLY setting on my dryer and added the pillow to the dryer with some dryer balls and it puffed up beautifully. DO NOT USE a HEAT SETTING. The directions are very clear about that. I like the look of it, and the back support. Knowing what I know now, I would probably buy another but add the extra filling to the arms first. Now that it is all puffed up it is a little difficult to remove from the cover and add the extra filling. I got the impression that this company aims to please.

I love this pillow. I luckily ordered it right before I got covid and was confined to my room for 2 weeks and I am so glad I did because this pillow saved my back. It came with extra stuffing so you can adjust how firm/plush it is depending on your preferences but I found the amount that was already in it was perfect for me. 2 things I would improve on it is 1. it only has a pocket on one arm instead of both and 2. I would've liked it to be a little taller or have some sort of head/neck support.

I have been wanting one of these bed rest pillows for a very long time, but the ones I have seen were always quite pricey and unattractive, except for one in the Hammacher Schlemmer character that is priced at $179! So when I saw this one, and saw how inexpensive it was I was quick to order it. It arrived in a narrow box but once I unwrapped it it unrolled into a very lovely pillow. So great to sit up in bed and read in comfort! My only other comment is this. I am only 5 feet tall and weigh 108 lbs., so I ordered the smaller size and it is perfect for me. But for a taller or fuller person, they might want to consider a larger size!

I liked that it had an inner lining, with zippers on outer and inner casings. I took 3 plastic grocery bags full of foam out of the backrest (a messy proposition but a nice option) and it is still too hard, hurts my back, can't get it to provide lumbar support. The foam bits are not that soft, no matter how much you deplete the stuffing. A few pillows are more comfortable than this, in my opinion. In fact, I had to put a pillow between me and the backrest, which sort of defeats the purpose and messes up the arm rests. Also, I had it out in my screen porch for a week and the fumes were still terrible. Made my head ache and my eyes burn. I've had it inside for a week now, and it still smells but maybe half as much as it did. I've debated returning it but it is pretty heavy/bulky and I keep hoping it will "break in" a bit more. FYI the spare stuffing in the extra bag they provide is not the same hard, tiny bits of multicolored foam that is inside the backrest - it's softer, more uniform and nicer quality than what's inside. They should have used it for the whole backrest. If you like a hard backrest and can get past the fumes, you'll be okay. Definitely needs something behind it like a headboard.

I love this pillow. It's perfect for watching TV or reading in bed. It would also work well to put it on the floor against the couch for those who like sitting on the floor.The fabric is a nice gray color and very soft to touch. It's sort of a cross between velvet and velour. The cover has a zipper and is removable. Under the cover is the part that holds the stuffing and that has a zipper so you can add (comes with extra stuffing) or remove stuffing to your liking. It has a carry handle and a pocket on one of the arm rests.I got this to give as a gift but I may have to keep it! It fits me perfectly!

This pillow is amazing. It looks great with a fancy luxurious appearance and texture. It's very sturdy and works great to support your back while sitting up in bed. It's very high quality.When you first get it it's folded up and compressed and takes a few days to expand to full form. At first I was worried it wouldn't, but it ended up being just fine.The pillow didn't actually end up working for me because I have a bunch of spinal fusions and I can't sit anywhere unless it's *just right*, but that's just me, and I think it's a great pillow for people without extreme issues like mine.
