I couldn't be arsed to get my multimeter every time I wanted to test the battery and alternator. This done the trick in an idiot proof way, brilliant. Green light good. Red light bad. Back to my cuppa in no time. It's smaller than I thought it would be which is better to fit in tool bag. Display is clear. Battery test is a doddle. Build quality is light weight but seems durable enough with the cables and I'd say that would be the weak link if any. Obviously don't put heavy tool on top of it. Safe operation. Detected voltage no problem and put my mind at ease that my issue lay else where. Brilliant and at this price I thought why not.

Good value for money ,does what it said it does, easy to operate

Good product - had alt issues and tested on one car and showed good indication - however on 2nd car it did not show any indication - meaning the unit was in good order - As 1st test car had new alt and batteries.Charge lights in 2nd car went off about 2500 RPM - but there was not output from alt using volt meter. with engine runningTherefore 2 sources of info led to a new alt being sourced for 2nd car. Nice handy piece of kit to have in garage to hand. For the situations like the above

The media could not be loaded. This is a brilliant bit of kit. I recently bought a second-hand leisure battery and wanted to check it was working properly before fitting it in my caravan. This kit gives me the peace of mind that everything’s in order. This tester is easy to use and does a good job not bulky so easy to store in car etc. Very good value for money.

Easy to use and charged m battery from almost empty in about 8 hours

I have only used it once and it seemed to work well. I think that it would have been better if the test leads were a bit longer as I tested it on my van and the battery is in a restricted area under the driver’s seat.
