Alleviated heel pain right away
Love this slipper! So incredibly comfortable I use them all the time. I’d developed plantar fasciitis on the left heel, as soon as I put these on the pain was relieved. Now that I’ve been wearing them a few weeks the fasciitis is almost healed, I can at least walk barefoot without a lot of pain (I do wear them consistently around the house to prevent pain from returning). The fit was perfect, I wear 7 and ordered a 7. The arch is pretty high which worked for me, but might be too much for some people I imagine. Highly recommend!

Perfect level of arch support
Moving from flat sandals to these is going to be a noticeable difference; however it is great for aligning the spine and supporting the foot as our foundational contact with the ground. For my foot, the arch level of tide 2 is perfect and I find many of the other Vionic models too low, not supportive enough (except for the unisex that are a pinch higher than these). They take 2-3 wears to break in and are so supportive that I can wear them for days on end and hours on end without needing to use my custom orthotics. Also anyone with planter fasciitis that finds contact with shoes painful, if you have not tried it I want to recommend guasha on the bottoms of the feet and up into the arches from a qualified professional. It was a painful procedure and I was sore for about 48 hours; however it cured the issue for me. I had built up fascia from very flat feet despite high arches which was broken up by the guasha. Now I maintain it.

Awesome flip flops for PF
I just moved house and being on my feet (in running shoes) for hours a day irritated my Plantar Fascitis to the point that I was in pain all day.I did a quick Google search for shoes recommended for PF and Vionic by Orthoheel popped up as highly recommended. Ordered with my 2 day shipping and done...I put them on as soon as they arrived and the relief was immediate. I could walk pain-free for the first time in days!I slip them on as soon as my feet hit the floor in the morning while I get ready and the relief has been tremendous. I think these are a great alternative to flip flops which everyone knows are bad, bad for the feet. I wish I had known of them sooner or I probably wouldn't be in the predicament I am in now.Cons:- The high arch (which helps alleviate the pressure on the heel) causes my arches to hurt a little after awhile but like custom orthotics; may just require an adjustment period.- The squishy foam material becomes a little slick when wet. So probably not ideal for use around the pool.

These sandals do offer relief.
This is my second pair of these shoes. I have plantar fasciitis and have been struggling with it for almost 2 years with no help from dr's or physical therapists. These take a little to get used to so start with a small amount of time wearing them and ramp it up. I have worn them all day without problems and they definitely extend my day. Before there was no way I would make it on my feet all day. They are pricey and they do go flat a little faster than I'd like but I will continue to buy them as long as I need them because they do offer relief for me. Better relief than the custom insoles I had made for my feet specifically. Go down a half size from your shoe size. That is not specific to these sandals though I don't think. I do that with all sandals and dress shoes it seems. The arch feels a little forward at first but it was what I needed apparently. I would definitely recommend these sandals.

Podiatrist Recommended
I bought these because I have plantar fasciitis and they were on my podiatrist's "approved" list of shoes. I got the black ones because they go with mostly everything and at $60 per pair, I couldn't justify buying a pair in every color until I knew how they fit. Let me tell you, they are worth every penny. I live in flip flops during the warm months and these are really comfortable. However, I should have listened to the other posters who said to only wear them for a few hours at a time when you first get them. They do take some getting used to and I wore them all day. When you take them off your foot feels kind of weird but after a few days they were fine. I wear a 7 and ordered a 7 and they fit perfectly. I definitely recommend these for those suffering from plantar fascitis.

Too Big for Great Arch Support; Buy One Size Smaller
My feet measure a 7.5 C Width for years and I've bought more than a dozen Vionic Orthoheel Tides in a Size 7 on Amazon, HSN and QVC and have loved the fit and feel of every pair. The company Vionic Orthoheel has split up and that's why these Tides do not feel like the Original Tides.Buy these One Size Smaller than You Bought Your Original Vionic Orthoheel Tides and They Might Work for You.I searched and searched and bought 3 pairs thinking that one might give me the arch support that I desperately need, but the all fit the same: too loose, like the ones that I've been wearing for 10 years and without any arch support. The separate companies Orthoheel and Vionic have a greater selection of sizes and widths than the original company did so keep trying until you get your best fit!!
