It is very well made, magnifies clearly and has a well sized view. Left or right handed. Simple lighting system taking 3 AAA batteries. I’ve not used the lighting as yet but has ample lighting around the perimeter.Taking advantage of an extra years guarantee done softly and easily.

This is a well made item with super clear optics. The rectangular shape enables you to read a whole page without moving position. The LED lights are bright and extremely effective. Overall the best magnifier I've used and I have been through quite a few!

I've been meaning to get a conventional magnifier for ages. My mobile phone does a perfectly good job but it's not always convenient use it. So I treated myself. Having looked at loads of reviews I decided to get the MagniPros 3x reading magnifier. It arrived very quickly and was just what I hoped for. The illumination is extremely effective although I haven't needed to use it much yet as my living room is well-lit.The Magnifier is well balanced and easy to hold and use. Magnification is ideal for what I want to use it for. I don't know yet how long the batteries will last but that's not a problem for me.Overall I would say that, although not the cheapest on the market, it feels like a good quality piece of kit and does the job perfectly.Personally I would recommend it to anyone!However there is a free offer of another magnifier if a review is written. I wouldn't have taken up the offer if I didn't think the magnifier was worth a good review - but I did. MagniPros sent me details of how to obtain the free gift but it turns out it for US customers only. I made a complaint and they dealt with it promptly as well as indicating that the enclosed offer leaflet hadn't been updated for international sales yet. They were very helpful in response to my complaint,So, overall, a very good item but beware the free offer which may be contained within the box if you're not in the US.

Great, distortion-free optics which, together with the good & even lighting from the built-in LEDs, makes for relaxed reading without getting tired eyes, despite having a macular problem with the eyes.Only downside - minor, so still given 5-stars overall - is the weight when using it for some time whilst reading a book: this despite it being easy to hold. But we've already made good progress on the ergonomics, using suitably placed cushions and the like to take the weight off the wrist/arm.The seller, Mars Trade Mall, acted promptly to "resend" the product after the first parcel arrived empty! Thank you for that good service.

I bought this for my 90 year old mother who has macular degeneration. The lights are great but the magnification does not seem to be "4 times" and it doesn't make writing that much bigger. She is not able to get any use out of it. Her previous magnifying glass is "3 times" and that seems stronger than this one! The lights, shape and design plus ease of use turning on and off are great but disappointed in the degree of magnification.

Bought as a gift for my elderly mother in law. Seems reasonable quality, optimal size to see a good chunk of what you are reading, without being too bulky. Really like the dimmable light feature. I bought based on mainly positive reviews, and recommend the product. I have been offered a second free magnifier in return for writing an honest review, which is an great marketing ploy, however this is a really good magnifier, and I am more than happy to leave the review with or without a freebie!

Does the job just right.

Not the clearest image (I understand high quality lenses are very expensive item) and not high magnification but now I can read the small letters on usb chargers that i couldn't before. Light option is a big help. Good value for money. Ended up ordering more of them.
