i mounted this flag on a flagpole in the bed of my truck, and even at 70+mph it holds up, but I have a feeling it will start to tear away at the edges after a while which is no big deal. if you are buying it just to fly outside your house, it will work perfectly too. the material is somewhat thin, and it feels like the same stuff that men's swimsuits are made out of, but it feels very sturdy. the brass grommets to mount it to a flagpole seem durable, and they have held up in the 70+mph speeds on the truck. great value for money and the flag is exactly 3x5ft
