I wanted a board that would fit into my backpack, and this works perfectly. The handholds are thin enough that I can use them to teach my son strokes, but still a good size for me as well. It floats well and does not bob up in the front like some boards do.

I’m not sure if I’m particularly lacking in buoyancy but this thing seemed to prefer going sub-aqua a little too much for my liking. I would be kicking with flippers and it creates a lot of drag due to its tendency to want to dive. I have another traditionally shaped float that doesn’t have the same tendency so I wonder if that shape simple comes at the cost of performance. Or are these things supposed to want to dive.

Not comfortable to use ! Maybe smoeo else will find it easier.

I'm getting on in years; had a knee replacement & thought what better excersise than getting into the water. I can't swim; but just walking in the water helped; holding onto the easy to hold & use float gave me assurity.

I bought this float to help build my confidence in wild swimming. It is a really big help. Buoyant enough to keep me afloat. I'm an average height and weight adult male.
