I have been looking for forward facing long handled shears but all seemed so expensive. These however are a good price, very sharp and came sooner than anticipated. It was a bit of a challenge to unwrap them, masses of black plastic, but the blades were protected by a plastic cover. They are not as light as I had hoped but not too heavy. I would recommend them.

Exactly what I needed, very long handles, super sharp 5☆

"Amtech Long Handled Lawn Edging Shears for hedges, trimming grass borders...versatile, easy to use...lightweight with cushioned grips..." -was delivered to me today in flimsy black, plastic wrapping (looks like black bin bags) held together with lots of sticky tape. One of the cushion grip was exposed by the inadequate black plastic packaging and I could see it was damaged already. I had to cut through carefully all the awful plastic wrap packaging and check the rest of the Edging Shears. On inspection, as you can see from the pictures I have taken as evidence, both cushion grips had broken cushions. This was not caused by the bad packaging as both the cushion grips were already broken inside the package. I think this is a badly made, defective item that is not worth the effort of buying and waiting for it to arrive. I have to wrap it all back up with my own black bin bags and sticky tape, and print the returns label to return it. What a waste of time and money! The company should compensate me for the trouble of packaging it from scratch to return them their defective product. Don't buy this online. Go to a shop instead.
