XTREME 12V MAX* Cordless Screwdriver, 1/4-Inch, 2-Ah Batteries (DCF601F2)

I've had a few DeWalt hand tools and used more at work and elsewhere over the years, they've always seemed like quality stuff with many accessories available, and pretty decent prices, so it was one of my main choices when searching for a new drill screwdriver. We had another version of this screwdriver drill at work and got a lot of work out of them, so I was pleased to see this model. It's lighter and less top-heavy, but still has good power for a 12V hand tool. This is marketed as a screwdriver, and that's what you should mostly use it for, but you can also do some light drilling and it'll get the job done. The bundle is nice -- screwdriver, battery, extra battery, and charger. So you don't need to go buy extras or wait around for the battery to recharge, just swap in the spare and get back to work. It's not a huge thing, but it shows DeWalt was paying attention to how people work with their tools. The little carrying bag is fine, has enough room for the screwdriver and battery stuff, plus any bit kits and such that you're likely to need. The regular price is OK but sales come up periodically (father's day and similar) so you can sometimes find the bundle for around $100 instead of $130 and save a few bucks for more bits and things.

I already owned the 12 volt dewalt screwdriver and impact driver and decided to pick up the drill driver to complete the set. They are pretty cute little tools but don't let their small size fool you. I have used this drill driver quite a few times since purchasing it and I am quite impressed. I find myself grabbing this instead of my 20 volt driver for many tasks due to it's small size and light weight. Battery life is impressive for the size but you will be charging in more often than it's 20 volt big brother. The hex chuck works great making bit changes a breeze. I really like the fact that you don't have to pull the collar back to insert a bit, just when you want to remove it. For around the house and small projects this is a great tool to have in your toolbox!

This thing has been used repeatedly over the last couple of weeks. When you don't need an impact driver, this little puppy does the trick. We have a farm in Michigan that always requires attention and strapping on a tool belt just isn't always possible. I am not a fan of big-*** tools. Clip this thing to your belt/pocket and you're good to go. It's powerful enough for 90% of what needs to be done, small and light, I initially purchased it for the wife so she could put furniture together...got it, tried it...got her a nice set of screwdrivers instead. I've hid the DeWalt, she'll never know. Ordering through CPO Outlets was awesome, don't hesitate.

As an electrician, I use this for installing light switches, recepts, and metal boxes. It works great. Nowhere near as heavy as my 20V impact driver. The clutch is very nice for not stripping out screw heads. Battery life is surprisingly good for a 12V.

Pound for pound, best bang for the buck ! Some power screwdrivers don't come with a case or bag. This does. Some only come with 1 battery, this comes with 2 batteries. Some power screwdrivers are a brushed motor (not the best), this one is a "brushless" motor, which lasts a lot longer & is stronger ! This 12volt screwdriver is a steal !!! I got this for my wife, for her to use around the house instead of my big 18volt drill & 18volt impact.

This comes with two batteries, the charger, the driver, and a nice zippered bag to carry it all. The driver is quite powerful, the batteries hold charge for lots of use, and (best of all) the driver has variable speed with the trigger switch. Pro tip: This can also be used as a drill if you use the drill bits that have 1/4" shanks with the retention groove at the back end of the shank to keep the bits in the driver bit holder. Obviously, if you need heavier duty screw-driving capability and more battery capacity, get a more powerful drill/driver with a much higher capacity battery; but this will do lots of work around the house. I used mine to assemble a cabinet and I didn't come even close to depleting the battery.

Muy ligero y compacto, la iluminación es muy buena y el control de cambiar la rotación de forma convencional es su carta más fuerte contra el destornillador de instalador de milwaukee fuel, este lo tiene en la parte superior con un botón de membrana.

Not long after I bought this drill I bought a Dewalt 20V Max XR drill and impact kit thinking I made a mistake of purchasing a 12v drill. Well to my surprise, I'm always going for the 12v drill instead of the 20v. It's compact and light. Man is it light compared to the 20v drill (DCD805B). It's also so easy and fast to switch bits. I would take the 20v drill if I had a deck to build but for any and all repairs, I will always take the 12v drill hands down. I have no regrets with this purchase.
