Tried to contact the Sylvania company who we bought our portable DVD player from for a replacement cord since the original fell apart while removing it from the cigarette lighter. They couldn't replace it so I looked on Amazon and found this one. It listed the exact model of our player as compatible. Works like a charm. Hasn't came apart. Longer than our original cord which is awesome!

I ordered this adapter cord to replace the original one that didn't even last 6 months, and was barely used during the 6 months. The original cord was very poor quality, thin, and short cord length. I recommend this cord it was well worth the low price and works great and longer cord length. Shipping was on time

My original cord bit the dust- the casing came off near the plug end, exposing the wires and making it difficult to use then it stopped working altogether. However, it was most likely due to my kiddo pulling it out of the socket with her feet and other abuse heaved upon it by said kid. This new cord is a lot studier made and is withstanding the kiddo wear and tear A LOT better. Works great!

Works as it says for my daughter's portable DVD player. Only issue so far is it's a little tough to plug the adapter into the cigarette lighter. Not an issue overall. Will update if any other concerns come along. Well worth the money so far!

Good Price Very happy with purchase

The charging cord for the Sylvania DVD player is really short--I guess if you're in a Mini Cooper it would do the job, but that's about it. We've got a minivan, so this was a REQUIRED purchase if we were going to charge the DVD players in their headrest positions. No problems so far, and we've been using them every day for the past 3 months.

My youngest loves his DVD player and it helps him on long rides to watch movies because he is extremely active and if he isn't watching the movie, he is bouncing off the walls and non stop talks! Well -- we lost our other cable... I had a long car ride coming up, panicked and then bought this. Praise God it works and he can put his headphones on to watch his movies during the ride...
