Five Stars
The best.(Update below)My first review was simple, I simply said it is "the best," and gave it Five Stars.Somebody did not find that to be a helpful review for the 10 pack of this product. LOL. I admit that was kind of short (and to the point). Although "the best" sums it up, I'll expound on what "the best" means to me. If I could give this chocolate bar 10 stars, I would. I like this chocolate bar so much, after having purchased individual bars for awhile, I bought a 10-pack. And another ten after that...and another. I think you get the point.Taste is very subjective, of course. If you like a Hershey's type of milk chocolate bar, or even a Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate bar (only 45% cocoa), you are likely not seriously considering this chocolate bar. It would very likely not be nearly sweet enough for you.Getting that out of the way, if you like deep, dark, semisweet-to-bittersweet chocolate, you may like this chocolate bar very much. I have found the G&B 85% Cocoa Dark Chocolate bar is the smoothest, most satisfying, "best"-tasting dark chocolate bar I have ever had in my life. Nothing about it is bitter (to me). I think It is better tasting than Moser Roth and Lindt - both of which are fine chocolate candies. Again, taste is subjective. And, the fact it is organic is a plus (I have purchased other organic bars that didn't taste all that great).I also prefer the fact that G&B's section their chocolate bars into more, smaller pieces than other chocolate bar manufacturers (30 rectangular sections). I apologize for the redundancy (that fact is already listed under the ingredients photo in the ad itself, but one must do some rudimentary math - 12 pieces X 2.5 servings = 30). However, I only eat one to four pieces at a time - this chocolate is that rich and satisfying. So, I never have a whole "serving" - and consequently, one bar can last me a week or two.So, for my liking, it is not only the best tasting, but it is also the best sectioned bar. I also like the sturdy cardboard serving box that the 10-pack ships in; it allows the bars to stand up, like a retail display - easy to grab the next one from the cupboard. I would miss this product if it were to be taken off the market. So, there is my review of the Green & Black's Cocoa Chocolate Bar, Dark 85%, 3.5 Ounce Pack of 10 - and the reasons why I think it is "the best." Of course, the "best" way to to know if this is the "best" chocolate bar for your taste, would to spend 3 bucks and taste one for yourself. ;-)

Delicious
Green and Black Chocolate is extraordinary. Only a little bite satisfies because at 85% cacao, it packs a punch. Once you've tried it, you'll never go back to any chocolate you've eaten before. The only drawback is the months we had to wait for it to arrive, as it seems to have been shipped from England. Be prepared to wait and wait and wait.

Disappointing Experience: Stale Dark Chocolate Disaster
As a connoisseur of fine chocolates, I was eager to indulge in what I thought would be a delightful experience with this supposedly "premium" dark chocolate. However, my anticipation quickly turned to dismay as I unwrapped the bar and was greeted by a wave of disappointment.Firstly, the texture was all wrong. Instead of the smooth, velvety consistency I expected from high-quality dark chocolate, this bar was unnervingly hard and crumbly. It was as if I was biting into a piece of petrified wood rather than a decadent treat. The lack of freshness was evident from the get-go, leaving me questioning the quality control practices of the manufacturer. The flavor was equally underwhelming. Rather than the rich, complex notes characteristic of well-crafted dark chocolate, all I could taste was a bland, stale bitterness that lingered unpleasantly on my palate. It was as if the chocolate had lost its soul, leaving behind a hollow shell of its former self.To make matters worse, the aftertaste was downright offensive. Instead of the lingering hints of cocoa and fruitiness that one would expect, I was left with a stale, almost metallic tang that left me reaching for a glass of water to cleanse my palate. In conclusion, this experience was nothing short of a letdown. I had hoped to treat myself to a luxurious indulgence, but instead, I was met with a sad excuse for dark chocolate that failed to deliver on every level. Save your taste buds the agony and steer clear of this stale chocolate catastrophe.

My husband’s favorite chocolate
We used to buy these at our local grocery store. Apparently you can’t get them anywhere in the US anymore. My husband is a low carb dieter and loves these. Just one or two squares from a bar is very satisfying. However now we have to buy 10 or so at a time and wait a few weeks to get them from the UK.

Best Texture & Taste for the Dark Chocolate Connoisseur
I've tried Lindt, Ghirardelli, Hershey, and others, but my favorite is Green & Blacks. Check out the reviews of " The 5 Best Dark Chocolate Bars in the World" at Mark's Daily Apple website. I fully concur with the author's analysis and here is a pertinent snippet of his remarks, "It's creamy, silky, smooth, and melts very well, but it's not quite so bitter... When I don't want that kind of bitterness, I reach for a Green and Black's, which strikes an impressive balance between robustness and delicateness." Give it a shot; see what you think. ***UPDATE*** THIS REVIEW WAS BASED ON The Chocolate Bars made in Canada and those I purchased through British Grocery sellers on Amazon. My most recent box of bars which are offered by Amazon appear to be made by Kraft foods, and just do not seem to be as good. The wrapper says made in Poland, but the sugar content is higher and these just aren't the same. I recommend purchasing the bars from British Grocery. It will be worth the extra cost and shipping time.: [...]
