Difficult to Remove
It's quite difficult for me to remove it. I need to ask my hubby to do it for me. The longevity is acceptable; it is new, so we will see after a year. And, for me, it's a little costly.

Best price
Finally, I had to buy a new battery for my Greenworks lawn mower. These batteries were the best price I could find, even less expensive than on the Greenworks website.

Disappointed
I bought this replacement battery because the one that came with my Greenworks trimmer was not sufficient to finish cutting the grass and blowing the driveway. After 3 years and 1 month, the battery failed. I contacted support and was told that the battery was out of warranty by just one month, so I was refused service and support. I own a Greenworks string trimmer and blower, but this experience has been frustrating. Given the short lifespan of the battery and the lack of flexibility in customer support, I’m disappointed in the reliability of Greenworks products.

Excellent second battery allowing a quick swap and continuing with your work,
The battery appears to be an OEM battery, I can see no difference between it and the one that came with my tool. It took a charge in the same amount of time as the original battery. The charge lasted as long as the original.

Overcharging clarification
I bought a 12 in Greenworks chainsaw about a year ago from Lowe's. No complaints other than oil leakage during storage.I just bought a second battery to extend cutting time. After reading multiple negative reviews about these batteries I read the manual that came with the battery thoroughly twice looking for cautions about overcharging. In spite of the fact that several reviewers told people with complaints to read their manual, there is no guideline in the manual. It does say in the first page to charge a 29462 model 1 hour but it doesn't have any caution about going past an hour. Later in the manual there is a footnote that says on Page six that if the battery and charger are stored for a long. Of time you should remove the battery from the charger and unplug the charger from the outlet. None of this addresses the issue of overcharging clearly.I decided to call the Greenworks helpline and find out what they recommended... More facts, less hearsay. The person who answered my call, a(after about 15 minutes on hold), said that there is no harm in leaving the battery on the charger for a couple of hours after it is charged. They caution against leaving it in the charger for days on end. Her explanation about why that is true sounded more like a a NiCad battery explanation, but I trust that the overall advice was sound. I also pointed out that there are a large number of negative reviews about these batteries on the Amazon site. She said she was sure that corporate was aware of that and was addressing the problem. She had no specifics, however.
