I was helping set up tvs to computer at American legionand I had ordered an 75 ftf hdmi cord which was a waste of money so I did some research and came up with this solution. This is a win if you have a long run. Works great it is used for bingo and karaoke and is stable.

Doesn't work. I initially used the prepped and tested data outlet i intend to use and it wouldn't sync, meaning I have a solid green HDMI light on the transmitter but no green light on the receiver. So to troubleshoot I plugged the receiver directly into the transmitter with a brand new cat-6 cable and got the same result. Tried resetting it several times and checked all cables. They checked out so it has to be a faulty extender. I'm not surprised considering by the obviously translated and illegible instructions. Good luck if you decide to gamble on this junk.

I recently purchased this in order to hook up an HDMI camcorder to a switcher from the second floor of my house. The first one I received would not work. The transmitter was getting power and lighting up. The receiver was not getting any power and not lighting up. I tried several different HDMI cables, as well as different Cat 5 and Cat 6 cables with no luck. When I initially opened the box I noticed something out of the ordinary. The power cable included was not wrapped with any kind of twist tie. Any device I've ever purchased with cables has always had them wrapped and secured in some way. This leads me to believe someone else ordered this and returned it because it wasn't working. I sent it back and opted for a replacement. The second one works as it should. The power cable on this one was wrapped a secured with a twist tie. Overall, I think this is a great little device. I deducted a star due to initially receiving defective/used unit.

It's working really well so far! Very pleased with the device.
