Skechers Performance Women's Go Walk Oasis Slip On

I'm a huge fan of the Go Walk series (see, e.g., my love letter to the Legacy style; R.I.P., sweet shoe, R.I.P.). I literally, literally am on my 15th or 16th pair/style/color. I wear them to work. I wear them on the weekends. I wear them on vacations. I replace them so often not because they are poorly made but because they are so comfortable that I have worn holes in the soles for several pairs and just worn out several more. So what I am saying is, I know my Go Walk shoes; I love my Go Walk shoes. I may be a damn Go Walk shoe expert. And this is the first pair that don't fit like a dream.Today is the first day I've put them on (I'm calling this work shoes, and I've been on an extended holiday staycation since before they arrived), and they feel great, until I start to walk. These are made of a different fabric that the usual Go Walk styles. Its kind of stretchy all around. Kind of like a really sturdy ace bandage. And the fabric is kind of stylishly stitched together so it looks less like a water shoe (the only downfall of Go Walk styles) and ALMOST like a shoe you would buy for, like, a walking vacation of a big city, wanting comfort but maybe a little bit of style so you don't remind yourseld of your mom on that vacation you guys took to New York when you were 15, and she was like totally embarrassing in her mom jeans and sandals.Anyhow, putting them on, I was pleasantly surprised by the way they hugged my foot, while still being light as air and full of cushion, so much so that I even said outloud (to my cat, whose judgment is silent), "ooooooooo....niceeeeee". And then I made it half a block toward my bus . . . and they started to fall off my heels. Like, they are almost TOO STRETCHY (I know, rhis doesn't even sound like a real problem ... "these shoes are just too accomodating to my fat feet") and there's nothign to make it stay on. Still, I think they are comfortable, and reasonably priced to boot, so I went back online to try to order one size smaller, which MAY be the solution to all this, EXCEPT they are not available in this size. So I'm wearing them, and I'm enjoying them . . . until I have to walk more than a few feet for coffee/lunch/the bus/the walk home, trivial stuff like that. There are just a lot of complicated emotions in me right now because of these comfortable adn yet infuriating shoes.TL;DR: Run larger than every other shoe in this line. Still incredibly lovely to wear, but fall off within about 100 feet of all walking journeys.

I wear a 6.5 and ordered that size, they fit very well and run true to size. I've worn them without socks and they are comfortable, and it's usually hard for me to find shoes that are comfortable without socks. The fabric on the Oasis is very stretchy so it almost feels like a snug pair of socks. I got the "stone" color and it is what i expected, a nice neutral halfway between light grey and khaki.I also purchased the Skechers Go Walk Autumn, which are very comfortable and didn't need any breaking in.

My boss is a runner and was raving about the Skechers Go Run. I wanted a walking shoe to bring to work for walking long distances through the day. This campus is huge and moving from building to building can be city blocks. These slip-ons are so light and comfortable. The support in the arch is phenomena for a flat shoe. This is very important to me, because I have a tendency to get plantar faciitis. I am also taking a trip abroad, which will require a lot of walking and climbing in a hot climate during the tours. This slip-on will be perfect, especially for packing purposes when considering the weight of baggage. I will be looking for different colors and sales on these Go Walks. A must have.

I hoped these would fit just like the GoWalk slipons but they do not. These actually hurt my feet. Fine if you have normal or slim feet but not for a wider foot. These were, and I quote my daughter here, "feet jail." The seller and transaction via amazon both perfect and trouble free as expected. The Sketcher brand is great. This particular style is just not for me, hence the neutral FB. I will be sure to order only the GoWalk slipons and not dabble in the other versions without first trying on in a store!

I have a pair of these in black that I bought several years ago. I wear them about twice a week and they are still in great shape. I think these are probably being discontinued since there were only a few colors available. I bought the blue this time. I was afraid they would be too bright but they aren't bad, definitely a cobalt blue rather than navy though. The reason I like these shoes so much is they are very comfortable, even if I wear them all day and am on my feet a lot. I have wide feet and the stretchy material of these give me plenty of room. People are always telling me how comfortable they look and I tell them that they truly are. I would rather have a darker color sole instead of white. My old black ones have a black sole.

A girl sitting next to me on the train had these shoes on and they were so cute! I bought them on my kindle fire on the train and had them in two days! I love my amazon prime! I wish I had bought them before I went on my trip to London last summer, I could walk ALL DAY wearing these. They are stretchy fabric so they really hug across your feet. I have kinda narrow feet so they really hug them and are not floppy. If you have wide feet, you might order larger size but if you have narrow feet these are perfect!!!

I bought these with high expectations. The shipper sent them quickly and they arrived fast. The sole sizing is good, so buy your regular size. However, the top part is made of elastic, which has no real shape. This caused a few blisters on the top of my toes where they were in contact with the elastic. I liked the look of them online, but in person they are somehow a bit different. Although they are unique, I probably won't get much use of them if they continue to cause friction blisters.

Love all Skechers shoes, but have to try them on before ordering. I have a long narrow foot and some are more wide than others. I'm pretty flat footed so the arch support isn't great for me. The Skechers with the memory foam are the best.
