URBAN ARMOR GEAR [UAG] LG G4 Feather-Light Composite [Ice] Military Drop Tested Phone Case

The LG G4 has that wonderful curved back that makes the phone feel thinner, easier to grip, and easier to put into the pocket. I wanted something that would protect the face of the screen when set down and give it some basic protection without destroying the nice lines of the phone (like an Otterbox).Enter the EAG case.Packaging: Standard fare, it did come with a plastic screen protector that I declined to use.Fit: Tight enough without being a pain. It does seem like it won't just pop off either. While I don't have one of the tempered glass screen protectors, it does look like this would fit without a problem. No problem accessing the rear buttons/camera. I did not try with the leather back.Appearance: I used the silver plastic back on my phone with the ash colored UAG case. It does look nice. I see that they were going for the "rugged" look, but I still question the choice of using fake rubber screw heads on the back. There is a hexagon pattern on the inside of the plastic that does show through in an understated way. Note: I've seen this case in clear with the white Samsung S6 and iPhone and it looks really good.Performance: So far, it's what I've wanted. It doesn't make the phone overly bulky. There is a front lip all the way around the screen to raise the phone up off the table when laying face down. The edges of the button/camera cutout are beveled and actually help guide your fingers to them. The "rubber" around the top and bottom are much better than the "soft jelly" kind and are not so grippy that they make it difficult to put in/take out of your pocket. The side rubber grips actually make it much nicer to hold in your hand and prevent slipping.Overall conclusion: I really like this case. It looks interesting, seems to protect, and more importantly does not interfere with the function of the phone.

I previously had a UAG can for my Galaxy S3 that stood up to crazy amounts of drops, dings, or anything else I threw at it (or threw it at). So I was very happy when I saw they had one for my new LG G4.Thankfully this case doesn't add a lot of bulk to the phone shape but feels like it will take a beating. Great access to all buttons and ports on the phone and it looks quite nice against the plastic grey backing of my model.

I searched Amazon specifically for cases that fit my LG V20 phone and this product came up. The product description says it fits the LG G4, but since I've never owned the LG G4, I had no way of knowing whether or not it would also fit my LG V20. Of course many phone cases are designed to fit more than one phone model, so I thought, "Okay, Amazon. I'll take your word for it." As you can see from the photo, the LG V20 is slightly longer than the phone case, and the width of the case is about equal to that of the phone. Though this case showed up in the Amazon search for LG V20 cases, it will absolutely NOT fit my phone. My question is, "Can we not trust Amazon searches to fit what we're searching for?" Hey, Amazon! We know you can do better. I hope they'll grant me a refund... and improve their internal search engine. Thank you!

The rubberized portion of the case will eventually separate from the clear plastic portion. Many reviews show that. My cover lasted just under a year before failure. The hard plastic portion is not a very hard plastic, and shows major scratches in the first few days. I purchased this phone cover again because for the price ($7) it was worth it. It seems to provide excellent drop protection, with the thick corners, and the front lip protects the face of the phone from scratches. For me it worked well enough, but I'd have a hard time recommending it, based on it falling apart in less than a year and it's ability to scratch so easily. Edit: 1Jan20 My second case has already failed completely separating after less than 3 months. Buyer beware.

It was good for the time this thing lasted (63 days). I liked how it looked and felt in the hand. The case fitted nicely in the phone plus it looked like it can take some hard hits but looks can most definitely be deceiving. Just recently, the case started to fall apart on both sides of the "Soft raised rubber screen-lip and rear skid pads" for unknown reasons. I've only dropped my case twice and they were not hard falls at all. I guess the glue was not strong enough to stay attached to the hard shell and as a result It feel apart to the point where I did not even have a case anymore. I obviously could use the warranty which lasts for a year but to be honest I want a refund plus I was so unsatisfied with how long this case lasted that I didn't even want to bother. I just ordered a new case today which is the Rugged Armor Case with Resilient Shock Absorption and Carbon Fiber Design for LG G4 in Black by Spigen and I can't wait to get it. UAG please step up your game.

Update: 2/18/16I've had the case for about 4 months now and the rubber on the side is starting to come off. I'd think it was a fluke but my husband got one around the same time I did and he has the same thing happening. I've had such a good experience with other UAG cases I probably will still get one for my next phone but it does give me pause. 4 months feels like too short for the case to start coming apart. I think it's something that can be resolved with superglue for now.------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------I would never buy another brand of case as long as they make one for the phone I have. I've been putting these cases on my phones for years and never had a single one break (neither the phone nor the case). I used to go through cases (and phones) like crazy cause I drop my phone all the time. Now I'm almost too reckless with it cause I know the case will protect it.

Love this case.Looks great, thin so doesn't add too much bulk and customer service is very good.The rubber and plastic around the edge came apart on my one after extended use due to me constantly taking it off and on again to swap my battery, so I asked for a replacement, sent them photos, and they sent me a replacement completely free so very happy with that.I've not dropped my phone outdoors yet so don't know how protective it is, but here's hoping things stay good.

Looks cool, but really isn't!! The sides started coming away after about 2 months & I dropped my phone getting out of the car one day(So not a fall from the greatest of heights) & my screen broke. Way too expensive for something as poorly made & Inadequate as this!! I like a rugged case for my phone but this isn't one! I saw a review on YouTube & bought it after praise it received there... Get something made by Casemate instead !!!

Keeps the phone intact. It was so good I bought one for my partner. I have dropped my phone from about 150 CMs up out of a jacket on the concrete pavement a few times( accidentally) and there was no damage. That was real world not a test. I would recommend a screen protector as well for safety sake. It also sits high enough that the phone does not scratch when left on a table. It will be my only choice for any phone I but in the future.

This is a strong and surprisingly handsome case that is not at all bulky and has an excellent rubberized grip along the two longer sides. The smooth plastic from which the case is made allows it to slide easily into my jeans trouser pocket. The screen protector that comes bundled with the case is made of flimsy plastic and I, instead, used a tempered glass protector that I purchased separately. Note that the gap in the cover around the headphone socket at the bottom is large enough to fit the plug of the earphone supplied by LG, but may be too small to allow certain other earphones to be plugged in. Overall, I am very happy that my beautiful new phone has been transformed from a delicate and sensitive piece of equipment into a rugged tool.

I've bought 4 cases and return each one of them, until this one. This will be the one that will stay on my LG G4 for a very long time. Really confident with it protecting my phone and above all, really nice feel to the hand. Although it's a bit at the pricey spectrum for a case, but I think it is worth it. :)
